Hi, can you please explain more about the SLR rings? I' heard on internet that SeaGuides rings are not so suitable for braid on a long period. Can someone clarify this ,Daiwa? Thanks a lot.

I'm wondering how these compare to the Tournament Pro range of rods?

Anyone reckon there'll be a new range of feeders coming out in 2022? I'm talking new versions of something like the Tournament Pro, Air, etc

12’ or 13’ I hear the 12’ is superb and casts just as well?

    Hi,
What kind of reel do you recommend for a 12' rod?

I'm a big Daiwa fan and product user in the reels rods and pole department.
However, can I buy a 1 oz carbon tip for one.
of my Nzon feeder rods anywhere?
Nope, Daiwa please advise as to why many dealers are not saying great things about you business protocols and stock situation at present, it's somewhat disconcerting
Spate tips across the ranges just simply don't exist to buy, Ebay's dealer network in particular show virtually no stock of any tips across the entire feeder rod ranges.
Back up is everything, seems rather ironic advertising these new rods when you can't so much as buy a spare tip for any feeder rod you produce🤔

Sorry to hear that you are having trouble locating spare tips for your rod. Unfortunately, due to covid stock levels have taken a hit, along with every other company, but we are working on replacing the stock of items ASAP.

@@daiwasports Thanks for your reply guys, I've used Daiwa Rods reels and Poles for over 25 years and will never change. It's come as a shock I guess to find you can't buy spare tips off the shelf so to speak as I've managed with ease in the past on the odd occasion you break one.
Hopefully you'll be able to re stock the dealer network soon🤙

I hope they are cheaper... because, those steel guides are cheap ! Compared to the previous anti-tangle guides, their only advantage is the weight. Nylon and braid will love to dig inside them. A cheap choice for such a marvelous rod...

    • @jean-noelschmitz3061
      @jean-noelschmitz3061 2 ปีที่แล้ว

By the way, I'm a rod builder. The Atlas performance guides from SeaGuide are made out of 304 stainless steel, not even some 316 (Hero serie). The better choice was the Zeus serie with titanium frame ... light as a feather, durable with the RS ceramic and with rods over 550€, the added price wasn't relevant at all.

This guides change action and balance rods on better, and cast distance.
      I have only 3 SLR rods 2021.😊
By the way, I'm not convinced that braid and nylon "dig" through the rings.
Daiwa surrely will not allow such a cheap mistake for choose Sea Guide ss rings, on one of the best feeder rod in their offer.😊

@@jean-noelschmitz3061 Do you honestly think you're a better rod builder than the ones they have at Daiwa?

    • @SchmitzJeanNoel

@@user-rg1sx5ql8t I can select the best guides for my rods with absolutely no concern about making them more profitable, economically speaking. So, give me a Daiwa blank and I'll make a more durable rod (and more than probably more effective because I'll choose my guides to fit perfectly the size of the reel that will be used and to fit its position).
