Man alligator is amazing. We used to buy gator tail from a local taxidermist when I grew up in Florida. Wish I could still get it here in Maryland lol. We used to just use cornmeal with some salt, pepper and whatever seasoning you wanted and coated it in that. But we cut them into chicken nugget size pieces.
I needed to cut mine a little smaller and do not use the prepackaged seasoning for the alligator. My dad and use to love eating it in Florida when I go down there to visit. I still have two packs of alligator in my freezer, so I can try cooking again. When I am in North Carolina I get them at a meat store call Godwins.
