These crocs are actually being grown for food consumption (like chicken and other meat). It is different from the one which comes from the wild. And the best part is, it is regulated under the law/government. So you don't have to worry about extinction or anything whatsoever. So it means, that it's okay to cook/eat these crocs, just make sure that you can grow certain numbers of crocs too (just like when people cut trees, they plant new trees as well). Just sharing.

I dated a Filpina lady about 2 years ago. A wonderful people and culture. I have a lady friend who still lives there and we chat weekly. I have never had croc, but have eaten gator a lot and love it. I am sure they probably taste the same.
Familiar with Filipino foods never heard of eating crocodiles! Fantastic street food and pastries, never even mention of crocodile. Evidently this is something unique to that area.
On that topic of birds and crocodiles being similar in their meat: it does make sense! Birds and crocodiles are both part of the archosaur family, birds being theropod dinosaurs and crocs being of the order pseudosuchia. Other members of this family include the extinct pterosaurs and various small obscure creatures that also went extinct. Birds and crocs are indeed related as a result so the similarities in their meat makes perfect sense to me at least! Side note, I ate fried alligator bits in Florida once and I can accurately describe the flavor as being like chicken but with a slight seafood taste to it, probably because gators are semi-aquatic.
There is a reason why the U.F.Os do not land in Asia.

*IMAGINE CROCO BALUT*
Familiar with Filipino foods never heard of eating crocodiles! Fantastic street food and pastries, never even mention of crocodile. Evidently this is something unique to that area.
When I was watching I just realized I have a crocodile stuffed animal next to me
Close it's eyes!
Hahahah omg i was reading your comment and then i realise i was hugging my crocodile doll
Asians facts: anything that moves is food.
oh shit
Damn right
Not all asians I don't lol
Technically only a handful of people in asia eat this weird stuff and its mostly chinese
So if I move, am i a food?🤔
