@Fabian Kirchgessner Depends on what is meant by lore. Official canon? As far as we know, Pegasus (BSG-62) and Galactica (BSG-75) are the only survivors. Non canon wise, the Prometheus, Athena, Atlas (sort of), Celestial, and Olduvai (initially) also escaped Zero Hour, as well as Galactica and Pegasus.
There were other Battlestars and probably civilian ships. 120 battlestars and god knows how many civilian ships someone survived besides the main fleet. The Cylons likely made Adama's fleet the main target after it destroyed a fuel and arms depot several basestars and a resurrection ship and evidence that it was the sole fleet actively looking for the 13th colony which as far as the Cylons were concerned was a Major threat if the colony was alive, active and technologically advanced. The others likely fled into parts unknown and hid or colonized worlds and came back to pick up survivors which there was likely thousands or a few million there was no way the cylons were capable of wiping everyone out. we know that as they had captured survivors for testing.
@@Quetzalcoatl_Feathered_Serpent there were cruisers too not just battlestars. as for canon only galactica athena pegasus were surviving battlestars after first cylon war. just three. also ship destruction can be many terms, like ripped off engines section, blown off flight pods,the forward section blow off etc. it could be possible to salvage dozens of wrecked battlestars to make 2-3 new ones. if one lost whole stern section and on another wreck there is intact engine area why not cut it off wreckage and tow it to the engineless battlestar to reinstall them? how hard is to destroy battlestar into pieces?? it depends where damage is and what effect of damage.. fuel line explosion,ammo magazine explosion = total loss but if its just blown off flight pod or one engine pod or even two,why not salvage the missing parts from wreckage?

@Angloknight: IDK about you, but my favorite part is when Pegasus hauls ass out of her docking slip, ripping off the docking arms and blowing that building to hell and back in the process.
@localfive0 That bit is legendry! And i love the music that goes with it! every shot is timed perfectly for the music! My other favourite bit is when cain bows her head and then the shot of the cylon raiders blowing up everything portside of pegasus!! XD I miss this show!! haha

I also love the sight of the Pegasus reversing out while everything explodes around it. Can't beat that scene for adrenaline.
If I remember the lore, Galactica and Pegasus weren't the only battlestars to survive. I wish there were stories about the others.
