It represents his insecurities about his voice and playing. They are both self taught. Their music is about dealing with depression and suicidal ideation. How to raise above it and stay alive. The name is inspired by the Arthur Miller play All My Sons, in which the main character made a decision to send out faulty airplane parts during WW2 and 21 pilots died. Thus reminding Tyler and Josh that they have to make the right decisions , even if they are not the easiest ones to make.

When Tyler, the singer, has black paint on his hands and neck or you hear the deeper voice in their songs or videos it represents the character 'Blurryface' which is like his dark side with all his insecurities and dark thoughts 'my name's Blurryface and I care what you think', you'll see it again in the other songs from that album, also called Blurryface. They have a strong mental health theme in their music.
Great groove. I also used to rock a Big Wheel back in the day. "Drummer And The Other Guy" can really put it together to get that many views. The good dope days. Here's a cool one for Dave to react to: Katatonia- Behind The Blood. It has some awesome guitar work and cool vocals.
