That's the most frustrating thing with the Osmo pocket, is that many of the accessories actually fight against each other. Throw a light, the all in one handle and an external mic on, and your z-axis stabilizer can't handle the weight. Or stick the lens cap on designed for the osmo, and now it doesn't fit as well into the case. I have found this happens several times with the accessories. Even most storage cases with the insert for the camera isn't big enough if you've attached the do it all handle. But I still like the camera. Better than a gopro. Gopros are twitchy with that frequent sideways jerking motion visible on dozens of videos on TH-cam, especially when panning. And it doesn't matter what frame rate you're on. Going with the Osmo from now on.
I just disassembled the OT-111 original OSMO charging case. Dremeled out the end of the inner plastic housing where the lens/gimbal side rests. Got it to where it will rest in deep enough where the latch will swing over the camera. Tested it to confirm the green led blinks. It does blink. Insert the plastic housing back into the metal housing. Works. The Pocket 2 does indeed fit into the OSMO OT-111 charging case, just need to modify it.
Thank you for the review, but this case would be useless if using the all purpose handle for the camera. Need to have a charging case that can include the all-purpose handle and the joystick accessory.
I really need this. I’ve been vlogging and I find the battery life really terrible on the pocket 2. Especially if you power on and off too many times the gimbal really sucks up a lot of battery. Thanks for this video. I’m probably going to invest in this charging case 😊
It’s also beautifully engineered and designed. It’s only a pity that it’s only compatible with either the Pocket 1 or the Pocket 2. I mentioned that because I recently purchased one assuming that it would work with my pocket 2! But we live and learn. Regrettably at the age of seventy three I still don’t learn.
Some people are miffed because you can't record while it's charging. So you're going to go buy a power bank, but remember with a regular power bank you're going to always have a cord running from the power bank to your Osmo, which for me is kind of annoying. I used a power bank for my insta360 one on our trip to Paris, and I found the cord was always getting in the way. So at least here you have cordless charging while you're out and about. So do some shooting, then while you're having lunch or just chilling, then charge it! I think it's a pretty good idea. Will probably get one.

when I plug my pocket 2 charging case into a USB-C cable it just flashes red twice and then pulsates red twice. I have left it plugged in for over 2 hours and nothing changes. Any ideas?
Eh, was about to buy it but won't do that thanks to this video - I don't wanna be removing the joystick every time ... that's dumb, it needs to be ready to shoot right away!
I thought this could be used to extend the battery life of the Pocket 2 WHILE FILMING. No point in buying this if I can't film with it. Might as well buy a power bank.
The DJI Pocket 2 Charging Case is an expensive, overpriced piece of junk! My Charging Case only worked for 8 months and then failed. Very expensive, a useless product. You have to constantly take the joystick and mndent off the camera and pack it back and forth, the joystick doesn't even fit in the Charging Case. Never again Pocket 2 Charging Case! A good quality, high capacity PowerBank is much cheaper and more usable.
Maybe MAYBE if they make one large enough to hold the Pocket 2 with the creator adaptor on it I MIGHT consider one. Thanks for the video.

I don't understand why the Pocket 2 charging case doesn't include a holder for the mini joystick. That's a serious oversight.
