    Good morning great videos Question: Which software do I have to flash for the esp8266 and on which pins do I have to solder the microphone on the esp8266? Kind regards

    • @3ATIVE
      @3ATIVE  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Guten Morgen Herr Jan,
      I use "ESPHome Flasher": github.com/esphome/esphome-flasher/releases
      As for the pins on an ESP8266 - I have not tested on that but, the Mic is digital and my guess is you can choose any that are not boot pins.

I flashed successfully (WLEDMM_0.14.0-b1.13_esp8266_4MB_min.bin), but nothing is displayed in the configurations regarding sound settings. strange... the esp8266 chip maybe too old? does anyone have an idea whether I could try another firmware, if so which one? • @3ATIVE

      Thank you. Yes 2 panels... There are two options:
      1. Connect one to the other - giving you one that is 64x8
      2. Connect the 2nd to another GPIO pin - giving two (independent) 32x8 displays.

      Here's what I found on the INMP441 Datasheet:
      "Left/Right Channel Select. When set low, the microphone outputs its signal in the left channel
      of the I²S frame. When set high, the microphone outputs its signal in the right channel.

      Hi, Thanks for the feedback. 👍
      To connect to your own Wi-Fi, simply go in to the WLED APP on your Phone at IP address: 4.3.2.1, then the settings are via: "Config" > "WiFi Setup". There you will find "Network name" and "Network password", Simply add you details there then hit the "Save & Connect " button.
      - If entered correctly you should now be able to control WLED from it's new network IP address, for example: 192.168.x.x
