- Today I will make this easy quilt-as-you-go-table runner. These are fast and simple to sew up and will dress up any table. I backed this one with heart fabric, so that I can reverse it for Valentines day. I hope you give this a try and thanks for watching!!

Ahhh. I love this. So damn cute.
Thanks Mark!!
Hi, Scrappy, I use clips to hold the binding in place while sewing the binding in place. Amazon has them fairly inexpensive. I'm currently working on a saw tooth throw for my niece using Iowa Hawkeyes fabric. Love your videos. Keep up the great work!
I do have some wonder clips, and I love them. I think I have more control of the binding if I just leave it loose. Just my preference! Thanks for watching!!
Nice!
Lovely
Fun Project!
wanted to see how you made two separate white backing into one piece which you mentioned at beginning ( as one piece turned out nice, clean & flat -- must have been tricky).
it's actually really easy!! I just cut a straight edge on 2 pieces of batting if they have a wonky edge, then just but the pieces together and sew together with a wide zig zag stitch. Hope that helps.
Ohhh I like it. I was noticing your table. Is it one long one? That would be handy.
It's actually a hollow core door across 2 bookshelves. Got the idea years ago on Martha Stewart's website.
are you sure the blk is 5.5? it looked more like 4.5. Can you verfity please ? Thanks
yes they are 5.5 but you could do them 4.5. They finished table runner would just more narrow.
