- Hey there! It's my first ever solo trip and I've never done it with anyone before nor ride up with! Guess what, I've NEVER been to any of the 7 destination before so I took all my opportunity to get myself out there. Yup, I'm a P-Plate rider and the bike that I've use to ride up is Yamaha spark T135. So for this Part 1 ride up to Phuket, was an eye opener and joyous ride I would say and for each destination, I've accommodated on each state a day or two; to tour around, find good food, sight- seeing and even boating out for fishing and snorkeling!
Hope you like this video and do watch my part 2 return trip from Phuket to Singapore.
Total of 7 destination and they are: Malacca - Kuala Lumpur - Ipoh - Penang - Hat Yai - Krabi - Phuket

Hey I just did a drive recently after covid to Phuket, chanced upon your clip. Nice job there.
Hey, Thanks! 👍
Salam...terjumpa tersinggah blog ko bro...terbaik rider ni...mantap lc nya
Respect. I ride a spark too and the furthest i went was ulu tiram johor 😂😂😂
Thanks man! Don't worry, slowly go places you never go before, it's an eye opener and you will see things that you have never seen before😉.
Update: Riding a Tracer now but furthest went only Cameron highlands lol. Planning on MHS soon 💪🏼❤️
Respect brother! Planning to head up in a few months time
Real easy rider. Remember it's you the driving force. Bike is only a means. Big things come in small packages. Wishes from India.
Thanks man! Appreciate it👍
Respect +++++ Brother!!
Wow with a spark u travel that far i was amazed by your guts im even scared to travel from sg with my sniper155 to KL
Thanks 👍
This is what I wanted to do when I pass 2B last year. I keep watching this video to keep the dream alive
Keep the dream on, when the time comes, go for it!💪
@@khaisyolo3493 Bro, at the current rate this lockdown situation is going. I get class 2 also maybe still cannot go hahahaha
Nice journey! I did a round trip from Bangkok to the Mae Hong son loop and back down to Bangkok! What a trip!
Thanks man! Oh that's awesome! There's so many things can be done in Mae Hong Son loop but unfortunately, I was only there for 3 days. Miss lots of stuff but nevertheless, it was amazing doing the bends and on chilly weather👍. Anyway, I've just seen your videos and you're on the move for adventure, so therefore the bell has been pressed! Have a blast on up-coming trips!
@@khaisyolo3493 Yea I agree! You can spend weeks especially if you got further up north to chiang rai and back again! Oh those twist and curves were so much fun! Thanks hopefully our worlds can clash and we can ride together one day!
Salute! Inspiring!
Truly inspired👍did u bring extra petrol in jerry can? Any near occasions where u run out of petrol? Spare engine oil? Or anything bike related?
Thanks man!😄. Oh yes, I did bring along 5-litre aluminium tin type Jerry-can which I bought it for $6 at a shell station in Singapore and only fill up 3-liters just for stand by. Apparently, I did run out of fuel at Thailand when I was riding up "Doi inthanon". Actually, there were several petrol station around but just that I will day dream while riding and miss the petrol station😅. Hmm..there's really no issue with my bike even though the speedometer cable came out while I was riding on Malaysia highway. I brought along one engine oil and change it at Phuket by myself as I didn't want anyone to touch my bike at that moment as I still need to ride back to Singapore😄.
What an amazing filming and riding, congrats bro.
Hey Thanks Alim Ocaklı
! Cheers!
Bravo!!! You are 5⭐ But did you check your insurance approved till Penang or even to Thailand? Also the IDP too.
@@john7458 Thanks thanks! The insurance that I have for Singapore covers up till West Malaysia and 80km near the border of Thailand. For Thailand, I purchased an Insurance before reaching the border. As anything that is over Thailand, I think the Thai Insurance works much better and faster in response.
Have you thought of if your bike broke down, got tires puncutre, engine problem or whatever in the middle of nowhere? What would you do and how?
Yes, I did have thoughts of that but didn't contemplate much about it as it may become a reason for not doing the trip. However, I did my due diligent to plan and take note of the important numbers such as Highway police, Embassies, tourist information, towing numbers and etc.
If anything goes wrong with the bike, I will work on it first and try to figure it out. If say, the engine totally down, then I will have no choice but to ask people around or look out for the nearest bike shop. There's always someone will opt to help out or someone will eventually pass by. This is what I notice from my trip. Anyway, if any break down were to occur, it will be a intriguing story to remember of.
@@khaisyolo3493 Admire your guts. 🙏
SIAPE KATE 2B TAK BOLEH RIDE GI THAILAND. MAD RESPECT BRO
cool!!kapcai and solo ride!!
Wow.. Solo trip.. much RESPECT.. 👍👍
salute to you bro. the furthest i went solo was KL with a DRZ. you're inspiring!
Hey! Thanks man!👌. Few months back, I did rode to Malacca with DRZ400. However, It's not easy at all as the wind pressure coming against me was just tiring. Great that you rode to KL! Excellent. Ride further up next time, there's more to see and you will be glad that you did it.👍
@@khaisyolo3493 alot of mod done to the bike before i even dare to go that far. Smaller sprocket, windshield and big tank. Anyway, maybe you make a video sharing how you plan your trips? Like where to stay, how you figure out cross border procedures etc? That would be really be great!
@@stimboi Wow! That's quite an expenditure, nevertheless, you made it👍. Yeah, I thought of making a video of how I made it, and yeah will be doing it on June. After much comments and all the "How" about the trips I made. Thanks for the comment, It motivated me to do the future video with much more descriptions👍.
Respect bro 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼
Respect ✌🏼
wow with a spark? you are an inspiration la bro! this is goals!!
may i ask how long did it took to reach thailand and was it a torture for your bike as it is low in cc and might stress the bike too much. i was planning to go for such a road trip with my 125cc bike as well
Hey! I rode up to different places to see around as i've never been to any of those places before on the video, so i took my chance to ride and yeah it wasn't tortures to me as i was riding about 200 to 300km each time to tour around different states and also you get see beautiful views😍. The only long ride was from penang to krabi which was over 400km. What i did was every fuel station i let the bike cool down for 15 to 30 mins so the bike will keep going without failing. That's the trick😉. My total trip was 18 days. As i accommodated in phuket for 5 days. Don't worry, it dosen't matter what bike is it, it's about crafting the journey👍.
I just came back from another roadtrip with the same bike but this time all the way to 'Golden Triangle' and i am the first P-Plate to ride up with this bike solo from singapore. Wait for upcoming video😉.
@@khaisyolo3493 i would love to join you for the next trip if you dont mind going not solo 😂
@@aldonislow2592 Sure, why not😄
Dude u bad ass man...
@@khaisyolo3493 we should convoy someday. I mean it.
Best bro!
Cool man. I rode solo to hat yai from kl on my lagenda last year april. We lucky got to experience this adventure before mco came into effect
Thanks man 😄👍! You would probably know the hassle to fuel up the tank every time there's a petrol station😄. Anyway, yeah, fortunate that I made the trip before MCO, if not, the trip will be so weird and undesirable. Just imagine going places to places getting checked for temperature and people tend not to mix around nor getting near you to have conversations; It would be just hideous. Perhaps I should do a ride in future when things start to clear up in Malaysia🤔. Apparently, it will take awhile for Singaporean to get out of the country😆.
@@khaisyolo3493i was ok with the fuel as i took the liberty of having extra in two bottles ( in my hidden poket doraemon =] the biggest headache was the queue at kayu hitam and sadao. It was songkran crowd. But i perservered and three hours later im in to siam. just came back yesterday from trip down to jb. This are strange times. I can see the heli in sg doing its rounds from stulang laut. Im waiting for things to settle down. Hopefully 2021 is a better year as i aim for krabi and phuket. Btw, what brand helmet is that you wearing?. Does the double visor really provide good shade. I had a givi before this. Kinda obstructs my glasses but manageable.
@@parvez7106 Pocket doraemon😆😆. Yes, sadao border usually crowded. You can try other border next time; if I'm not wrong there are 6 to 7 overland borders to Thailand. Apparently there's a specific timing to enter Thailand where the crowd is less, however I forgotten the timing for that😄. For the helmet, I used the "LS2", I actually bought the helmet and I wore it for my trip to Golden Triangle (Northern Thailand). However, I only used it ONCE for the trip but didn't really favour it after the trip as for the ear cup area and cheek area, it felt so tight and compressed that my jaw seem to tighten up. I sold the helmet not long ago😄. However, it does have sun visor and it didn't bother with my spectacles and it does help in blocking the sun glare.
@@khaisyolo3493 i'll be goin wan kelian next time round. This checkpoint has the least volume. So exciting. Just waiting for my govt to declare international borders open and i am going, going...GONE. Did you change you sprocket settings for the trip?
@@parvez7106 😄👍👍. I didn't really think much of the sprocket set up, but I went to "Pinto" tyre shop at Johor to get my tyre, chain and sprocket change, in one go. My rear sprocket is 38 teeth. Didn't go for any lower teeth sprocket as I carried quite amount of stuff on my big so I got to balance the speed and power. However, I chose a good chain indeed. It works well for me and it did a good job for me to get till Golden triangle👍.
Wow respect. How old are you?
Thanks man👍. 25 man😄
Hi bro steady!.. Are you planning to ride up 2b bike anytime soon?
No bro. Maybe in Malaysia only but not far away.
@@khaisyolo3493 How about Hatyai?
I live in Hua Hin Thailand and I'm afraid to even ride to Chiang Mai. You got some serious balls lol.
Oh your jacket is way too big for you I think. Ride safe!
Oh hey! Thanks man! Wow, Hua Hin is so much developed than Phuket I'd have to say that. Apparently I rode pass Hua Hin to see what was there, but I have to say that I was really amazed by the atmosphere and the infrastructures. Would definitely stop by in future to explore Hua Hin.
Oh Yes, my jacket was way to big for me🤣. I bought it in impulse from online, a used one, merely for the ride up to Phuket😂.
Well done bro!
Awesome journey bro!
I m a p-plater as well & had alr planned to go KL solo this month with my Vespa s150 but this pandemic happened. 😭
Huge respect to you nonetheless! 🤙
There's great! Yeah, unfortunately this pandemic obstructing peoples freedom, but nevertheless, there would definitely be a time to ride over. Hold on to the plan and when the time comes, just go for it. Looking back at my ride to Thailand, till today, I've never regretted doing it eventhough I took a long time to reach the destination. All the best and enjoy that trip. It's worth it👍.
Inspiring video, really insightful for us riders.
😄Thanks man! 👍👍
Nice video
My turn soon with my z1k solo trip to phuket !
Wow! That's great! Enjoy every bit of time available as when I was doing this road trip, time flies really fast that when I was reaching Singapore and telling myself this, "It's about to end" and that was the saddest part of the trip. Anyway, do as many things as possible with also taking breaks to rest, as the journey will be tiring unless you have so much of time available in hand that you don't mind returning anytime. Lastly, have a blast and enjoy your journey😄🤙.
@@khaisyolo3493 i'm definitely gonna cherish every single moment for sure..thanks for the awesome advice..looking forward to more awesome adventures from you or who knows maybe one day we'll do a ride up together..till then ride safe and stay safe brother 👍
I couldn't believe you didn't change a new speedometer cable at Malaysia before continuing your journey....how to try top speed;p
I actually heard the cable come out while riding😂. Yeah, didnt really bother about it. What I really bother was the fuel indicator😄. However, I did try speeding up but the bike became very shaky. So most of the time I was in cruising speed👍.
Salute bro.. You UPS..
Inspiring video bro, greeting from jkt
Wow bro you very brave.. let alone park bike at JB rdy i scared. 🤣🤣🤣
Thanks man!😆 My bike has no modification nor any parts that attracts people to help themselves up. It's just a old machine😄
Respect bro !
how come you are always on road shoulder?
The road shoulder in Malaysia are actually for slower Motorcycle and also for break down of vehicle. However at times, I do ride on the Main road but I prefer to ride on the road shoulder as I tend to look left and right to see the beautiful scenery while riding. The atmosphere there is just beyond say👍👍👍.
Bro, give my respect to you 👍👍👍
Bro where did you find this courage to solo trip
😄 Erm..No idea, guess it's just me, khais.yolo😉

How much do you spend per trip like this? Would like to try it one day! 😋
Hey there👋, I spend about $1600 for 18 days. It seems like alot but actually not at all. Hmm.. The food and fuel is relatively cheap, however, the other expenditure like places of visit like taking a boat out, fishing and other attraction of visit that needed to pay to enter, will eventually add up the cost. Despite all that, I actually don't mind spending it, as all these stuff I've never seen it or done it before in overseas. So yeah, it was a great experience indeed.👍👍👍
welldone!
Thanks man!
How long was the whole journey bro?
Oh hey! My total journey was 18 day. About 2 days on each state and 5 days on Phuket. The left over days are return trip.
Bro, i sulate u ... Well done 👍
Next target for u get a class 2A...
Once in a life time experience because when u grow older u will not have the zest to do it again .

Pendang, Kedah to Pos Kuala Mu pon berhenti 6 kali. Plan to ride Awan Nano, Betong, Thailand this year.
@@mohdsoffimdsaad8325 Awan Nano is a beautiful place, should ride there next time👍. I only knew this place after I ride up to Phuket. Will check it out next time👌.
Yeah...really amazing my friend
How u secure ur bike so wont kena stolen ?
Hmm.. Majority of my time went I stop by some places to have something to eat, I will stay near my bike. Other then that, if I'm going round city to look around or tour around, I will just park at my hostel or hotel and lock the wheels up (you can even pad lock the chain).
The better option is always park in the hotel parking lot, they will have specific place for you to park and remember to ask them first as some hotel don't have parking. After all, just enjoy your ride✌.
@@khaisyolo3493 wah thanks dude i feel really inspired sio to go on a bike trip haha
How long is the journey?
Hey!👋 The total ride up and back was 19 day to be exact. 1-2 days in each state, but for Phuket, it was 5 days😄. However, looking back at it, I did the right thing to ride up eventough it's quite tiring ride, if not, I won't be able to ride; like now the covid-19. Things changed. But nevertheless, it was well worth it👍.

Nice vlog bro.. Next time when ure in Thailand, do visit me.. :) oh ya, in future if u need ride buddies, do look up my 2 buddies, Farhan Tre channel & Zar Zar channel.. They love riding too and share the same love for travelling... Hope to get together with you guys someday..
Hey! Thanks man! 😄👍. Sure, will check out their channel👍. Thanks anyway😄.
Respect u bro. somemore go alone I dont dare. and in malaysia I confirm need to use GPS HAHAH.
Thanks man!😄👍
How old ur bike bro? mind 90k already, kind of doubt can do such a long trip without any issue surface. Was planning to go before this covid come out 😭
Hey! It's 12 years old. This bike has gone crazy amount of mileage. Definitely over 100km. However, the odometer for this bike is analogue and its hard to gauge the actual mileage as the speedometer gear often gives way or the cable gets snapped. Till now I'm riding without the speedometer😄. Yeah, I do understand that it's really hard to ride in overseas due to the covid-19. Even I, myself want to get out my country😆. Besides that, this bike is doable so any bike is possible. Furthermore, my bike has no modification at all but I do my due diligent to change engine oil bi-weekly without fail. So yeah, don't worry, you will make it but know your bike well before even riding over.👍👍
Seorang diri pergi Dan Balik from Phuket well done bro
Thanks man! 😄👍
Nice video bro .love it!! I going to drive there this December .. motivated bro . How is your experience?
It was well an exhilarating ride😄👍. Looking back at it, to be honest, I didn't even regret about it. There's really lots of thing could be done but time was one thing that was hindering me and also its quite tiring after a long ride. Cost wise it's relatively affordable and the people there are welcoming. Damn, miss those cheap massage in Thailand especially the foot massage as I walk alot almost every single day. What I could say is explore as much as possible and try to take as much pictures and videos of it. It will definitely be worth looking back at it😉👍. Btw, in Thailand, there will be "Cafe Amazon" in most of PTT petrol station so try out different coffee at different stop. Its worth it👍.
Bro how much you spend for the whole trip?
Hey! I spent about $1600 throughout the 18 days of my Road trip. The accommodation is fairly affordable as I switch between Hostel and hotel. In fact, I don't spend much on accommodation but rather on food and the tours. It's worth it!👍
