      Hey Thanks! Looking back about a year now, glad that I did it. If I were to postpone it by a year, the ride will become an impossible ride.In additional to it, if I were to ride it after Covid-19 which then it subsided, the atmosphere will be very much different now. Again, I'm just glad that I made it😄.

    This trip was a year end trip? 5° at Doi Inthanon? Some days, you get frost up there too. Every winter season, you'll get lots of bikers going up there to camp and enjoy the cold.

    • @khaisyolo3493
      @khaisyolo3493  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Yes. It was done between Nov 2019 and Dec 19. Yeah. I wasn't good in cold weather. Living in Singapore with that hot and Humid weather, it was uneasy for my to get acclimatized to that weather in Doi Inthanon. Especially that cold strong head wind. That's crazy. But whatever it is, it was just amazing to be up there. The feeling is just satisfying.

    you might consider adjusting the AFR of the vehicle as higher altitude will have less oxygen for efficient combustion. cheers!

    I flew over in Dec and did an exact reverse route from yours :) also your Phuket trip reminded me of my drive to Krabi and met 2 sg boys, doing sg to Cambodia on their 150cc scooters

      Awesome👍. Kinda missing "Pai," especially the Night market, in chill weather🙂. Next time I should stop by krabi for some days as my Phuket trip, krabi was a rest stop. However Phuket was like my "Victory celebration stop" where I spend 5 days there😆. Yeah, one thing good about riding or driving is that, you get to meet people and the journey becomes whole lot more interesting.👍.

      khais. yolo meeting interesting people indefinitely agree! This December if covid is done, I planned for Koh Samui - Phuket - Krabi.

      @@kevinng8061 That's great! Hopefully this covid-19 ends soon, as many are envious to get out of Singapore😄. BTW, in Phuket, need to be extra cautious when driving. Some roads are tight with too many vehicles squeezing at each other. However, it will be a great journey😉👍.

I greatly respect you to do it solo by the first time. You can make it in life as your bike trip show that you are a goal setter and show great determination to achieve what you want. The food u eat isit halal?

    • @khaisyolo3493
      @khaisyolo3493  4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      Oh most are not halal. I'm alright with this. Anyway, if you're looking for halal food there's definitely be halal shop/restaurant in each state but sometimes, they won't be near your vicinity. So you got to plan before hand of which shop/restaurant you would want to consume at. If you happen to pass by a halal restaurant then you can have a meal before continuing riding. Some riders bring food along and put it on their box so it will be easier for them as some rides are long, many prefer completing their ride and then have a good meal.

      @@kishenr9172 Why not?, Sure, any bike will do. However, the "time" plays a crucial part in road trips. The more time you have, you can chill the ride up and back down comfortably. Even if the bike breaks down (you never know), you will still have ample time to get it sorted out. By the way, are you going alone? If yes, well, the road trip is yours, your plan, your game plan and its all is yours. Do what you like and see what you can see👍.
