Man, I wish they had an app for Android. Would 100% purchase immediately.
Sorry, we have no plans to bring Sunday Keys to Android.
@@SundaySounds yeah, I totally get it. Developing for Android isn't a possibility for something like this.
@@SundaySoundsbut what about Windows? Is there a chance of that?
@@CorbanLuczywoThere’s the ableton version so meaning that ig it will work on windows
You show iPads connected to a Nord but you never say what you have to do with the controls on the Nord to establish the midi connection. Could you do a video of that? I have a new Nord Electro 6 73 key. I would like to be able to use that and also use midi
Learn on the Sunday Keys to map the volume sliders on the app to the B3 draw bars on the Nord.
Iam Ignatious,mucian,very good, good finger.
Can you use an external midi controller and assign like pads to advance through the differemt song sections? Seems like it would be too easy to slip and accidentally hit the wrong song section on the touch screen
Hi Triple-S, could you guys make a video on how you guys run the SK App for studio use? I still hear some ground noise, and comparing it to your guy’s recordings, it sounds so much cleaner, compared to mine.
Hey there, whether you’re using Sunday Keys or any other software, ground noise is almost always a symptom of something in the hardware config that needs to be optimized. Common culprits are low quality, poorly isolated room power, power supplies, extension chords, etc, which you can usually address with high quality power conditioners.
I noticed you have a controller on the right side of your keys.. how is that connected to your rig and how do you use or implement it on stage? Also what do you use to reference what you are playing on stage, example like monitors, headphones? What do you use to hear yourself playing?
Thanks for sharing this video😊
I know the IPad Pro eliminates the need for a tactile control interface to control various parameters within the app - can you advise on some other advantages of using an iPad Pro versus a Mac
We think the touch interface is a major selling point for sure. Other than that, depending on the model, cost is going to be lower, you get something really portable, low profile, and there are also tons more AUv3 plugins available for iPad (which isn’t yet relevant for SK App but will be very soon 👀)
can we use the iPad mini 6gen?
Amazing setup - btw i love the LED Videowal, too *XD* or is something different used ??.
BTW: I use Sunday Keys for my Top40 Band - and special on festival this is amazing. I know a othe key player he use this "App/Programm" on use festivals/concerts e.g. Hafengeburtstag Hamburg or for musical like Lion King in Hamubrg. The nice thing is - most guys "know" this app for worship but you can use this for so many other things .... Love it and i can recommended this REALLY - special in combine with an powerfull Ipad Pro and a good keyboard like a nord Stage or similar Stagekeys (I use a Yamaha S90) ....
yep, this church has a cool led wall setup.
Very nicely done. The only thing that holds me back is "reliability". But seeing that you've done this over a tour, and I"m assuming with NO failures in terms of the app or otherwise, I must say a BIG WELL DONE! Will definitely consider the app and perhaps even the IPAD investment. You have totally bypassed "Mainstage". The other point is, it would be great if you could include a little button that toggles between the sunday keys app and the native piano (in your case, the NORD); who knows, sometimes we may just want to be able to go back to the original NORD piano. Just a thought!
The app was built from the ground up for reliability! We have high confidence and data to back that up too. Any issues that you may run into will almost always come down to hardware configuration and you can optimize those out.
A button to toggle between the app and the native sounds probably wouldn't work well in app. It would vary between all brands of keyboards. You could accomplish something like this with a dedicated switch or pedal, like an A/B pedal and run your audio interface into one side and your keyboard output into the other and that would switch between them.
It's certainly no Nord, but I just picked up a Studiologic Numa Compact stage piano and it has a built-in audio interface so it will play the iPad audio out of the built-in keyboard outputs. This eliminates the need for a dedicated audio interface and I can actually run both the app and native sounds at the same time!
hey @@JustinLewsader , that's a great idea! Thanks for the very workable solution.
No Black Friday discount code? I purchased the 2020 version, now I am looking forward to upgrade to the App.
Sale details will drop next week :)
what is the iPad holder you're using on stage in the first part of the video?
That’s linked in the description!
I have this app and still have not gelled with the sounds after many times trying. Absolutely love the interface, but the lack of AUv3 makes it difficult for me to find MY sound. Please let us use our own AUv3 plug ins!
Very soon :)
So, if I use that USB-3.5mm interface/cord to plug in headphones, will I still be able to send audio through a regular interface at the same time? Or is this mini cord just for practicing?
It would be used instead of your audio interface, so best for practicing/lightweight travel.
We also keep one in our go bag as an emergency backup in the unlikely event an audio interface ever dies right before an event and we need to scramble.
Did you guys drop support for the mainstage version?
Definitely not! We release an update to the Sound Library for the MainStage, Live, and App formats all three every single month :)
why not use the built in sounds on the Nord Stage 2 you can use the 3 sections like a Vintage B3 organ and Piano and Synth to use along side the SK app to layer with
Could totally do that, and lots of folks like to run a hybrid setup like you describe. We’re all in on software, though, and there’s no way David could’ve felt as prepared for seven unique (and constantly changing) setlists without relying on the App.
You can, but when you don’t have a Nord at a conference you’re invited to, you just use whatever they have, but the sounds are all the same from the app, you don’t have to rearrange anything with a little bit of time you have.
I still hear that my transitions between songs aren’t seamless; the pad sound seamlessly
Transitions but as I am holding a chord and press the new patch… the sounds stop abruptly.
Am I supposed to manually lower master control volume to slowly fade out of one song? Any tips? Thank you!!
Make sure you’ve adjusted the “Time to Silence Previous Patch” setting in App Settings. You can set that for up to 10 seconds, and it sounds like you probably have it set lower than that. A higher value gives you plenty of time to make your transition smooth.
please explain the audio interface.I wonder why you don't just insert it directly into your headphone to your speaker?
Most new iPads don’t include a built-in headphone jack. And for iPads that do, with the jack it’s sometimes easier to get signal distortion or audio interference/noise than using a dedicated interface.
@@SundaySounds Thank you.
Have you considered an app for iPhone that only plays drones?
Already exists. It’s called AutoPad. Been using it for 5 years now. It’s also available for m1 macs.
How can I get the app

Pls also add Sunday keys app in android
I highly doubt any android tablet will have the processing power and more importantly Chip-OS optimization that the iPad has
They aren't planning on making the app for android
Sorry, we don’t plan to bring Sunday Keys to Android.
