bad performance or not, it was seeing this that made me get "Never Loved Elvis" one of the great records of its year, one of my soundtracks through college.
Still wish you were with the Milo and Martin. It's just not right not seeing you with them. Cheers for all the wonderful music you gave me in my 20's as an ex-Pat Yank, living in the UK in the late 80's and early 90's. God Bless, Fiddly.
It's very odd that none of the great Indie bands from he late 1980s and early 1990s ever took off in the US. I was playing my US wife the Wonderstuff last night and she had never even heard of them.
I love the woderstuff....Room 512 is my personal fave, Then this and size of a cow.... I miss the 90's We gave birth to some top bands in England over the years but the 90's gave us some of the best, (some very underrated) bands of all time....PEACE!!!
3 month delay on my posting this but this song was going through my head this morning so I found this video on you tube. I bet you guys were terrified. Playing and performing to a TV crowd who in all essence probably didn't know who you were (Or know your music well enough) as opposed to a UK audience who would have been singing along. I think you did great. I miss you guys, ever think about doing Beautiful Days, for fun?
It was standard format to replace the band with Dave's houseband at the time. You think this looks strange, you should check out the Black Crowes performing with them - very odd indeed. Miles is a gent!
wow, haven't seen this since it originally aired. i also was dissappointed at the time. not the band's fault, i remember screaming, why the F are they playing with the late night band! (also i wanted to hear size of a cow instead). listening to it again, it really was a pretty good performance. thanks for posting!
never seen this before. Kind of cool they got on Letterman but it sounds awful - could have had a massive effect on them not breaking america. Maybe not a bad thing musically though
I am smiling so much just now! 💗💗💗

Artie Fufkin on keyboards is a sign that you have made it.
I haven't heard this song since my last teens early 20s an it was on absolute radio 90s. Absolutely awesome stuff, never mind wonder.
Love how into it Paul is.
It's actually pretty good. Thank you for uploading this.

So weird not seeing the full band

Ohh god will some one put up the vid for this utterly exceptional tune
I've been looking myself for the video....
I grew up on the wonderstuff

I think it's a great performance, I can't see anything wrong with it.
It's cool seeing them play with Paul Shaffer and Co., who are all great musicians.
Ye it sounds great, the audio takes a lot away from it, but it’s a good show
@@warrenoakes4521 You cannot begin to understand how wrong you are.
oh In another world he can wear a dress!
Martin - you can see your hand shaking! :)
where is Mr Gilkes?
I don't see the original video of this on YT, maybe I should post my crappy VHS version just for archival interest.
Paul Schaefer understood...
Omg! Paul is so happy!
Saw the stuffies at the barrowlands the year before this.
Love you guys, but you don't translate. Not this song, anyway! X
When I wach this it reminds me of how much England is dead>
Morrissey aside, the best english band ever...how did you lose your country>

Bell is miming very badly.
Wow it's really weird watching non Wonder Stuff people playing Wonder Stuff songs. That band they are shit as well. :)
Paul Shaffer's band botched the harmonies
