I just wanted to let you guys know that I caught a big brown trout yesterday using the techniques and advice the Addicted channel has provided. I was on a river, and I have never fished on a river before. I wasn't confident. But I caught my fish using a dark green body and copper blade rooster tail. Your instruction really helped and I had a great day! Thank you ADX!!

Another option for purging the sand out of clams; place clams in a bucket of sea water then dump in a few cups of cornmeal. As they take in the cornmeal the sand gets pushed out. Makes for much tastier clams.

Killer video! For the razor clam breading to stick, try corn starch and/or a light flour coating first before egg and then breading. also adds a little extra crispy.

If you want your breading, to really stick to the razors clams, after egg wash and breading, put in metal pan and refrigerate for an hour, the clams will be dry and when you fry them the batter will stay on the clam.

This reminds me of the time we accidentally beached the boat in Astoria sturgeon fishing a little cove with a channel about as wide as the sled. Ended up "bank fishing" for sturgeon in this channel, caught several, landed 2 keepers, one of which was a legit 59.5" when the slot limit was 45"-60" down there. By far one of the best, most memorable days on the Columbia.

Guess I gotta settle for bear steaks tonight, deer and elk in the next couple of months! Also late September and early October will provide some Upriver bright Chinook from the Hanford reach! Sand Dollars are related to the spinney sea urchin. Sea urchins like the rocky areas while the Sand Dollar likes the wide ocean sand areas.

Jordan not going to hate on your cooking but if you cooked out the wine a bit more it would be even better also browning the minced veg a bit more in a hotter butter would help as well maybe even use olive oil if you cook on lower heats looks dank tho!!!!
