- Another day, another sedan. Because there aren't enough these days.
2008 Chevrolet Impala LT with a 3.5-liter GM 3500 V-6. The OHV V-6 produces 211 horsepower and 214 lb-ft of torque. Paired with *my favorite*, a classic, true relic, four-speed automatic transmission.
Ford V-6 over GM V-6 during the 90s-2000s era, IMO.
[ID: POV video of a black 2008 Chevrolet Malbibu LT sedan driving around in a rural area -- its throaty V-6 can be heard accelerating at various throttle inputs and speeds]
Shot on GoPro Hero7 featuring binaural (3D) audio. The use of headphones is recommended.

These impalas stay running! 💯
Forever and ever and ever and ever!
I definitely liked the 3.9 better, not fast by any means but definitely felt punchier around town and took less throttle than the 3.5 to get up to speed. Very comfortable cars
@@r2ba435 truly! Basic, but super effective. Would love a back to back comparison experience of 3.5, 3.9, and 3.6 for 9th-generation models just for fun 💭
This is the nearly perfect POV drive.
@@ChadTheGoob thank you so much! Any recommendations for improvement?
When i first drive the chevy impala 2006 3.9 L engine , i really enjoyed , like it , i used to work , back home on my days off , i let my brother check the oil , tires , every 3,000 miles , so i don't have to take to town get oil changed , whatnot , he order parts for my car , even the Malibu car , very good gas saver , i heard models are recalled due to engine problem so i really don't know , im just learning about how to replace vehicle parts by U-tube channel
@@HarryJohn-yd4pj I believe the newer models with 3.6 engine are more problematic than the older engines - good care = longevity!
I found watching this really relaxing :) The sound is great too!
That’s the goal - appreciate your comment and you watching!!
had this car really liked it. might get it again inthe future to store for the long run
@@jorgenambri3192 firmly believe these will be considered a classic to someone - SS model or no
Worst thing I ever had to deal
With my 06 LS was emissions. A gas cap.
But trans was going out and I had gotten it with a new one prob used. But before I sold it that trans was saying good bye lol. Great car owned it a decade before junking it. Only thing that car asked for was gas and oil.
A true workhorse!
this coming on my recommended while I'm used car shopping, is it a sign? lol
@@outroseok these are the kind of signs I want in my daily life 😂
