You have a pragmatic approach to riding, which is great. I started riding on a Yamaha VStar 650 many years ago and I still remember the first time I rode a sport bike. A friend let me ride his CBR 600 and the moment I sat on it I felt like I was 6 feet higher off the ground compared to my cruiser. A few months later I bought a sport bike. Someone else already had the honor of being your 1,000th subscriber, but I subscribed to get you closer to 2,000.
I appreciate the kind words! Thank you so much 🙏I've sat on my friend's MT-07 before but that's my extend of trying bikes haha. I definitely use my low ground height as a crutch (double flat footing) which I'd like to overcome and get in the habit of only putting one foot down.
@@itsmissy_xo it’s good that you have specific things you want to improve. I definitely think being comfortable with one foot down helps confidence in handling a taller bike. It’s also really helpful if you’re ever stopped on an incline.
Thank you! I've only stalled once in traffic, every other time I've stalled have been on private roads with no one around.... oy! It's only a matter of time before it happens again 😂
You are clearly more confident and it shows. Your TH-cam audience and subscribers are proud of you. Still looking forward to seeing some maintenance videos. Really think that will help bring in another demographic that aren't riders but enjoy the technical upkeep of motorcycles. Dino's Tinker Shed is another channel I follow that is sort of similar. Dino has amazing content. Hope you don't mind me posting a channel endorsement.
Thank you for the comment and definitely don't mind plugging another channel! I've definitely thought about doing some maintenance videos, I'm just very limited on space in my garage haha but I'll consider it for sure!
It's plug and play! I got it on Amazon. It plugs in under the seat, the set up was easy (just run the bike through all 6 gears to program) and it's been amazing!
Congrats on the 6 months!!! You are doing great! Just crossed 20,000 miles on the fz07. Does your cycle gear have a bathroom? Get on some Harleys, easy to test.
I ride to work if weather is not super bad... Today is weekend and I went for a ride outside the city. Temp 16C you think it's not bad but in open road with really windy day it is kinda chilling... I think there are few weeks more and it's time to take forced winter break.
Hopefully you can get as much riding as possible in during those couple of weeks! The weather has been great but its been extremely foggy in the mornings.
I've been looking at them for a while now! I actually looked at an older Ninja300 which was originally going to be my first bike but it needed too much work. I'm actually really happy with the Rebel but still want to try a sportbike!

I've been following for a while, your confidence is amazing. As a relative newbie myself it's nice to see others progress. I hate stalling 😅😅😅
