I can't say that an exact 395nm wavelength would produce color changes, but if you have a UV light indicating a 395nm wavelength it would be considered longwave UV. I believe it would contain a range of wavelengths that would fluoresce hackmanite in a manner similar to the 380nm light I used in the video.
Yes. The bleached white color is the stable form under room light. It changes to fluorescent orange (and then purple) with uv light then back to white with room light.
it looks so unreal ,im here cause i was in doubt if it was a scam but , looks very real. i want a hackmanite for collecting... looks like future stone.
It is a very unusual mineral, but I assure you its real. This particular sample is very strongly fluorescent and tenebrescent. In fact its the best I've seen based on internet videos. I collected another hackmanite sample that is interesting, but not nearly as dramatic. Hopefully you will find a nice sample to collect!
I got a big piece in my colection, it's in top 3 favourite gems
Amazing. Thank you for posting! 🟡🟠🟣
Fascinating!
Should a uv light with the wavelength of 395nm change the colour of hackmanite?

Is the bleaching reverseable?
