I remember when you got that diagnosis for Lily and my heart broke. Though I also remember that you have done everything you can to aid her on this journey. CBD and red light therapy even acupuncture. On top of all that the amount of love you and your whole family give Lily is wonderful. Oh sweet lily how I understand. I was diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and it’s taking my mobility. I know a wheelchair is in my near future. How I hope lily keeps her ability to move as long as she can. Sending lily hugs, love and of course the biggest sticks!

Thanks for the update and explanation of her condition. Its became of all of the wonderful care and treatment that you have given her that helps to keep her in such good condition..
My boy had DM, a different version, he had a happy life even after losing mobility, I left it too late to get him some wheels, should have done that when he still had some mobility, so he'd get used to it. With the use of a harness and a regular poo cycle, it was very manageable, it's a lot of work, so worthwhile. The last few months, I had to express his bladder, he was very happy and content, loved to play tug a war, to lie of the front nature strip to say hello to people, go for a walk in his cart and wrestle with his baby brother. Vets are so inexperienced with the condition and always advise the worst outcome. Bob lived to nearly 14yo. There was no pain with his version of DM, it slowly progresses from the base of the spine up towards the head.
It just amazes me that there’s gotta be someone somewhere who has the knowledge and or research to cure this disease. Praying for healing for Lily, Tilly, Cutie Pie, Freddo, Rover, Ms. Red, the rest of the Pack and the Evans family. Much love and prayers ❤ Thank you Neal!!!!

Thanks Luke for the in-depth update on Lily. you both have done everything you could possibly do to treat her illness, and it has been a wonderful success. If you look at the results. Two years later, instead of being at deaths door, she is still the dancing Queen. Thank goodness you found Neil because he certainly helped Lily With his treatments and his supplements. I think they have made a huge difference if not The defining difference. I know you use the laser treatment on her when she is in pain and I thank you for that and all the rest of the things that you do to help her manage her pain I foresee Her continuing to fight this disease with courage and Grace, and with your help maintaining her mobility for quite some time yet. A wheelchair will do the job, diaper and manually express her bladder. You can try massages, physiotherapy, acupuncture and magnet therapy (pemf or cemp). There are plenty of dogs with conditions similar to Lily's, even worse than hers, but if there's no pain or the pain is under control and the dog is happy, eating and involved in everyday activities there is no point of putting the dog down. Animals are very resilient and can adjust pretty quickly, they will definitely tell you if they had enough, otherwise keep supporting them and keep them comfortable. You guys are doing an amazing job with Lily, if Lily needs extra help and is willing to live and thrive, please don't take this chance from her just because a vet said so.

I can’t believe it’s been two years since her diagnosis! Time flies and Lily is still having fun. Keeping her active and your loving care are obvious factors in the slow progress of her condition. Every dog on the farm has a story - Lily's starting with her owner leaving the country and she becomes one of The Pack. Thanks so much for the update and as always, thank you so much for everything that you do! Sometimes it seems like the world is just so much negative but after watching your videos it's a reminder that there are still wonderful people like you and Sam that have dedicated their lives to making life better for others. I adore Lily, she has been treated so well with the supplements and the main thing is the exercise that she gets every day. Hope she carries on for a long time yet. Our Ruby has arthritis in her knees. She has an injection every three months for it but we will be going to every two months now as i notice the progression of the arthritis and her movements getting less. Sadly dogs dont live anywhere near long enough. Ruby is 10 this year. Hope she lives a long time yet. She is more active at the moment as we rescued a kitten that was thrown out of a car in front of us. Its a nutty thing , thought it would be terrified of the big shepherd, but no, rubbing all over Ruby as soon as they met.
This one hits home. I lost my German shedder to Degenerative Myelopathy. Lily and her could be sisters, stick dance and all. When she had a stick in her mouth you could only describe her walk as a prance. Unfortunately that DM walk is all too familiar. I am sorry that you will be forced to decide when enough is enough and it’s time to help Lily cross the rainbow bridge. Until then we will enjoy watching that majestic German shepherd known as Lily.

One of my German Shepherds, Trooper, had to have two TPLO surgeries, the other one, Ellie, is having the same issue as your Lily. Trooper is almost 12, and Ellie is almost 10. They were both adopted as pups. Maybe those little wheelchair slings WOULD help your Dear Lily!! ❤❤

Thanks for the update and explanation of her condition. Its became of all of the wonderful care and treatment that you have given her that helps to keep her in such good condition..
My boy had DM, a different version, he had a happy life even after losing mobility, I left it too late to get him some wheels, should have done that when he still had some mobility, so he'd get used to it. With the use of a harness and a regular poo cycle, it was very manageable, it's a lot of work, so worthwhile. The last few months, I had to express his bladder, he was very happy and content, loved to play tug a war, to lie of the front nature strip to say hello to people, go for a walk in his cart and wrestle with his baby brother. Vets are so inexperienced with the condition and always advise the worst outcome. Bob lived to nearly 14yo. There was no pain with his version of DM, it slowly progresses from the base of the spine up towards the head.
Lily has always been the quiet achiever. Smart smart dame. I’ve never underestimated Lily Girl 🐶🐾💜

Thanks Sam for not editing out anything that Luke had to say because it was all important and I enjoyed hearing everything. Thanks Luke for the in-depth update on Lily. you both have done everything you could possibly do to treat her illness, and it has been a wonderful success. If you look at the results. Two years later, instead of being at deaths door, she is still the dancing Queen. Thank goodness you found Neil because he certainly helped Lily With his treatments and his supplements. I think they have made a huge difference if not The defining difference. I know you use the laser treatment on her when she is in pain and I thank you for that and all the rest of the things that you do to help her manage her pain I foresee Her continuing to fight this disease with courage and Grace, and with your help maintaining her mobility for quite some time yet.

A wheelchair will do the job, diaper and manually express her bladder. You can try massages, physiotherapy, acupuncture and magnet therapy (pemf or cemp). There are plenty of dogs with conditions similar to Lily's, even worse than hers, but if there's no pain or the pain is under control and the dog is happy, eating and involved in everyday activities there is no point of putting the dog down. Animals are very resilient and can adjust pretty quickly, they will definitely tell you if they had enough, otherwise keep supporting them and keep them comfortable. You guys are doing an amazing job with Lily, if Lily needs extra help and is willing to live and thrive, please don't take this chance from her just because a vet said so.
I can’t believe it’s been two years since her diagnosis! Time flies and Lily is still having fun. Keeping her active and your loving care are obvious factors in the slow progress of her condition. Every dog on the farm has a story - Lily's starting with her owner leaving the country and she becomes one of The Pack. Thanks so much for the update and as always, thank you so much for everything that you do! Sometimes it seems like the world is just so much negative but after watching your videos it's a reminder that there are still wonderful people like you and Sam that have dedicated their lives to making life better for others. I adore Lily, she has been treated so well with the supplements and the main thing is the exercise that she gets every day. Hope she carries on for a long time yet. Our Ruby has arthritis in her knees. She has an injection every three months for it but we will be going to every two months now as i notice the progression of the arthritis and her movements getting less. Sadly dogs dont live anywhere near long enough. Ruby is 10 this year. Hope she lives a long time yet. She is more active at the moment as we rescued a kitten that was thrown out of a car in front of us. Its a nutty thing , thought it would be terrified of the big shepherd, but no, rubbing all over Ruby as soon as they met.

This one hits home. I lost my German shedder to Degenerative Myelopathy. Lily and her could be sisters, stick dance and all. When she had a stick in her mouth you could only describe her walk as a prance. Unfortunately that DM walk is all too familiar. I am sorry that you will be forced to decide when enough is enough and it’s time to help Lily cross the rainbow bridge. Until then we will enjoy watching that majestic German shepherd known as Lily.

Yes for older dogs ,vigorous running is not an option as a form of exercise,it will cause an injury to muscles and ligaments,they need only a few slow or soft running,and walking..Lili will thrive for a more long years,with your love and care.shes a strong and positive girl,enjoying her life.we are proud of her..I pray 🙏 for you lily to have a long healthy happy life.❤

One of my German Shepherds, Trooper, had to have two TPLO surgeries, the other one, Ellie, is having the same issue as your Lily. Trooper is almost 12, and Ellie is almost 10. They were both adopted as pups. Maybe those little wheelchair slings WOULD help your Dear Lily!! ❤❤
I think the running is keeping her muscles stronger which will be helping.
I swear I had an asthma attack just WATCHING all of Lily's fur flying round 🤧😷🫁🚫😂.
