i love classical music and respect the enormous amount of work it takes to get certain things to perfection, but a lot of these hungarian virtuoso violinists have a classical background and are able to improvise variations on melodies... roby is particularly great at that!
Thank you for such GENIUS! I am an American Serbian who was inspired to try violin at the late age of 51! But I so much LOVE this style of violin better than Classical I will keep trying and practising just to get a "little" better each year! THANKS FOR ALL YOUR VIDEOS! KEEP ADDING THEM TO THE SITE!
this is hungarian folk music with gypsy interpretation very little to do with classical music, and much more difficult in that there is improvisation involved
Gypsy and other Eastern European violin just has so much passion in it.
Well, this made me cry, so passionate, I am becoming addicted to Hungarian gypsy music...thanks!

Does anyone know what this piece is called?
May he rest in piece
It is not quite a keyboard. It is called cymbalom. With it you hit the strings with two little "hammers" to produce sound.
We Roma have passion that cant be copied
ez igen odabasz... ;D

it would be good if you write who they are, where are they from, and when it was played!

Ah..Nah. I know about the instrument because there is a similar Chinese instrument; probably sharing the same ancestor centuries back.
