360 video is a cool toy, but i have never seen 360 video that told really interesting story. But 360 camera is great tool to get a lot of interesting angles, and then put them in normal video.

I guess you would have to render it out in GoPro's software and then import the clip to get it to work in Davinci Resolve? Also, I have been thinking about getting something like this to record while biking. Maybe just the one on the helmet instead of a camera on the front and another on the back. I don't think the price point is bad for what it does.

This is very helpful video. I like How you covered the need and why it's not really a camera for everyday use or for every situation. I produce fly fishing videos for my channel and this camera will provide footage as if I had multiple cameramen. The cost... paying for multiple cameras and cameramen for the footage I'll be getting... this camera is actually pretty frugal in cost. Thanks, I've subscribed!!!

Hi, thank you for this upload! ;) ... I've just ordered mine, can't wait to get it! I have one question to ask you... what kind of extension pole did you use when paragliding? Because it is obvious that is further away from the body... I've also seen the length of it in the shadow in one GoPro video. All I can find is just aluminium pole about 16cm long and that seems a bit short. Thank you for your reply!!! ;)
So I'm looking for a solid 360/VR camera to film some non-profit work in Nepal. Your review seems like this is the one to get, but I'm a bit worried about GoPro's finances affecting support for the camera/software down the road. Do you think it's worth picking up even with their troubles? The other cameras I'm looking at are the Vuze (actually stereoscopic!), Rylo (unfortunately I'm an Android user), and maybe the Theta S since it just seems easiest. Would love it if I could invest in the GoPro though!

Good info. After watching this, it doesn’t make me want to get this considering the post production effort it takes to put together a video. Unless GoPro comes out with a more average consumer program that requires less production time.
AT 3:38, your replay of the stabilized video, how come your stabilized video dosnt have a blurr going while the fusion is mid air? I just did that test though in a 12x12 room but I have signification blurriness in mid air both in 5.2k30 and 3k60. Did you use the warp stabilization in premiere pro? I have mine set to full stabilization in the fusion studios prior to stitching. even through the play back on my phone app it show blurriness. What could I be doing wrong?

The Windows 10 task manager shows the GPU around88% , CPU around 27% , Memory at 72% , the file is on the G drive 9% , the software is on the C drive 1%

I still like the insta360 one x more than the gopro max. And with the new software update, the footage looks even better.
