Great explanation. I was having topping issues a while back and found the remedy by luck - I hit a couple of nice ones from sidehill lies wit the ball a little above my feet and struck it solidly. This made me realize that I needed to be flatter on the plane. Thanks for the good instruction! 👍
I tried this in my yard, just the back swing and i found out that the shaft was never pointing at the target or ball, i finally did get the back swing right, big difference. I will try it on the course next time as I’m having so much trouble with my fairway woods. Thank you
Hi Christina you are 100 percent correct that we need to be on plane with the tilted circle and not the vertical circle and the Hula hoop brought that home nicely. However the only possible way golfers can lift their shaft vertically or have their club too high is to cock both their hands at the top of their swing; just as you knowingly or unknowingly did in your demonstration. It is not because they elevated their lead straight arm too high. In fact we all see the best golfers in the world as they are maintaining their spine angle are also maintaining a straight unlocked lead arm next to their rib cage elevating it to the top of their swing as their rip cage is simultaneously turning. Don’t we? I believe from there they just send their lead arm down it’s exact path it went up to. And then there swing becomes automatic. Many of them also use the preferred neutral grip and pay no attention to the movement of the hands and wrists as the bending and of their right elbow is what actually controls their wrist and hands and so no deliberate or unknown cocking of both hands and wrists can possibly take place. Of course this is just a theory of mine that works perfectly for me every single time. Cheers
Hi Christina thank you for acknowledging what I wrote as potentially true. Being a morbid obese 74 years old male i also know that I tend to bend from my lead arm too much at my lead elbow on my back swing. So logic tells me to loose 50 lbs so I can straighten my lead arm; but for now my downswing starts with my lead forearm immediately un flexing at my lead elbow at thé very start of my downswing. That’s it! I now have extremely satisfactory contact with my ball as well playing decent golf in spite of my excessive weight and advanced age. Thought I would share my findings with you for the senior you teach. And I might also mention you continue to be my favorite on You Tube. Let me know when you are back home. I would love to thank you personally for all the wonderful free advice on You Tube over the years and to just say hi. Cheers
If I made add, to stay through the ball. Lifting your upper body will result in topped shots as well. I paid $$$$ to have a PGA instructor pick up on that tendency in the first couple of shots. The rest of the lesson was me hitting balls. Definitely worth the money, but I felt a bit silly about the cause.
maaaate, i really love you, your coaching and understanding of how hopeless we are is amazing!
You have helped me so much! I struggled with the game of golf for many years until I learned of you. 🙏
Can't wait to try that! You make so much sense in explaining the Golf swing using woods.
Nice video Christina, I been struggling with my woods lately, I will take your instructions to the course today. Thanks again!
Nice work Coach, to the point tips. Thank You for not cluttering advise with mind numbing data points and endless ball flight video!
Best,
Ed
Bravo Cristina Thank You Very much Your exercises very important for my swing
I love my 3 wood , but very inconsistent with it. This explains my problem. Thank you!
Best tip video ever!
Great plane tip. And you fixed my recent struggle with my hoola-hooping too!
I think you may have just saved my game. 😍
Great info as always!!
Excellent, I’ve been working on getting my hands higher, I must have been too steep with that 3 wood!

Well Done -- As usual! Thank You!

Great advise thank you
Very helpful lesson. Thanks
Love it!
Explained perfectly
4:47 “I just broke the shaft because that’s how strong I am.” 🙌🏽

Great feeling Thx
Thanks a lot. What about the 5 wood? Is that the same?
Great tips. You didn’t mention ball position during setup - where should it be for woods compared to driver?
So cute and a great instructor!!
I hit a great 3 wood other day. Problem is that I don’t know what I did. I like ur explanation. Thanks for help
Great video. I think I'm in love.

Is there a theoretically optimally plane angle for each different length club for each golfer, depending on height and arm length?

Should the swing be below shoulder line?
Can to vertical with the driver and 3 wood also cause a hook??
Whoops, there it is!
Thank you, great information again. Idiot proof, and needs to be to help me. 😁👍👍👍
What if you use the two plane swing?
Even if you are a two-planer, the downswing STILL needs to shallow out (flatten).
Is this the same for a 4 wood?
Yes all woods!
CrossFit works coach. Strong as fcuk now 💪💪👍👍. Good visuals and tips as usual. Be nicer to the alignment sticks tho pls!!
what about 5 wood?
The thumbs down are from those who can't hula-hoop.
👍🏋♀😂
I think I'm to deep in the Hoola-hoop??
