Grew up poor AF but one time my grandma worked at the mall and came through with the Jordan 5s on the day they released. That is still one of the best days of my life...lol

Use not being able to afford something as motivation to work harder until one day you can.
Just buy wat is aesthetically pleasing and comfortable to u man. Look on poshmark, eBay, asos, and any sales that brands u like have going on.
@mikael Working hard doesn't just mean working at a job. Could be in school, or whatever else you're doing. Think about the bigger picture long term. It's not rocket science. Work hard in school at a young age, get good grades, go to a respected university, and a high paying job will come where you'll be able to afford almost everything you want if you work hard enough. I'm only 17, I made over 15k profit just by reselling sneakers and streetwear in less than two years. I have nearly straight A's and soon enough I'll be in a good college where I'll keep grinding, get internships, and so on. Most people don't have the work ethic to get rich. It's a trade off. Depends what you want do you just wanna do nothing and relax or do you wanna work countless hours and make bank, and become successful.
tbh you can keep used sneakers "fresh" for a really long time by just cleaning them every once in a while and treating them like you'd treat your kids

I'm so glad to live in a time period where culture is finally being recognized as something very special. Plus the beauty and sentiment captured on camera, especially in the sole origins Tokyo. Y'all really killed the delivery of what it means to buy something from there and because of it my friends understand my connection. Theres only four new york staples in footwear, puma suedes, adidas shelltoes, air force ones and timberlands, honourable mentions ill give it to air max ones, fila tennis and wallys
K. Block absolutely my friend and my favorites of these that i only rock are timberlands air max and wallos and new balance 574 and 996 was getting rocked in bx and queens for some time by people also.
You gotta take it back to 80's if you mentioned wallys you can't forget about British Walkers and I still to this day rock my NB 996.
aikens todd word british walkers was poppin but only in the 80s and i feel like wallys was/is more of a status symbol, cuz wu made em hot for the 90s again, they had a longer lifespan than walkers and of course, cant go wrong with some new bals but i feel like it was more of a shoe for boosters, not on some fly drug dealer shit that the whole nyc wore like all the other kicks on the list
