1/2 cup butter which is 113 g is equal to one stick , Thanks for this great recipe ! I used a small tall saucepan from the start and used the electric beaters to beat the flour and water salt and sugar . When cooled then I beat in the eggs with the electric beaters . Came out great !
Hi, your recipe look great i tryed all of your recipe it turn out great mine kids loved the puffs and sweet bread you have the best recipe. Thanks alot!
Tip: if your puff has a peak, wet your finger a little and smooth it down gently before egg wash. This will prevent the top of your puff from burning before the puff has finished baking through.
I've always wanted to try to make this myself. I'm definitely going to try it now. You make it look so simple. Can you show to to make the cheese paste that it goes with sometimes. And for like a cheese paste sandwich? Thanks!
Hi.. Lovely recipe but I think roasting the chicken is better because all the juices are sealed in. I also use a whisk to mix the flour and butter which is much easier. Keep up the good work.
Hi Trini taste I made puff just like u said but my puff did not came out flow in side it come out heavy I add 11/2 cup water 11/2 cup flour salt and sugar 3/4 cup butter and six eggs but I mix the eggs one at a time with my hand mixer I dont know if that's the reason it came out like that but I will try again thanks u give s reply
can you make the Tuna version please..that's the most popular in Trinidad at weddings, prayers.. please if you know how to make it I would really appreciate it
Hey,what brand of butter did you use? I tried it twice tonight with kerrigold but I had to discard it because the mixture didnt came together. The oil was running all over and the mixture was wet. Please help.
heyyyy it hurts that i stumbled on your video after trying another.im a first timer with making puffs.you prepared your viewers for what not to do lol like mine one had pointy tips...it really burned.will be watching u from now.good job
Chandra Kandha butter isn't measured like that. It says how much it is on the package. If you're using a blue band butter, 1 stick is 1 cup, so you will need to use half of that stick of butter
Was wondering about this. All the vids I saw, the eggs were stirred in with a spoon or spatula when I'm assuming whisking would be much easier. Is there a reason whisk is not preferable?
i just made this and it was so easy and came out great . Thanks for the quick recipe!

I'm making it right now
cream cheese instead of mayo? this looks amazing btw
Do you have to wait for the base to cold then add the egg
How did you make the chicken? (Cook)
Can i double this recipe or make 2 separate set
Can these be frozen when filled? Thank you
Hi Natasha i just want to know how did you prepare the chicken to get it at that texture?
Yum.
Thanks! Going trini soon again. This time I will have to do more videos for sure.
What temp for baking in oven?
How did u cook the chicken
Hi Trini taste
I made puff just like u said but my puff did not came out flow in side it come out heavy I add 11/2 cup water 11/2 cup flour salt and sugar 3/4 cup butter and six eggs but I mix the eggs one at a time with my hand mixer I dont know if that's the reason it came out like that but I will try again thanks u give s reply
I know it’s been a while since this video but do you remember the name and where you got the tool you used to pipe the mixture out?
can you make the Tuna version please..that's the most popular in Trinidad at weddings, prayers.. please if you know how to make it I would really appreciate it
Okay, no prob! Will do that soon for you!
Is it possible to add some herbs to the dough for added flavor, or would that be too much?
lapetitemoma herbs to the mixture is a great idea. After adding the eggs will be a nice time to add them
Hey! How much Blue Band would I need to use? Thanks.
Can i use a food processor?
luv your cooking are u in trinidadbut now i got the measurement right
Chandra Kandha Hey, not in Trinidad right now. thanks for watching, happy you got the measurements correct
is there anything to substitute for the egg wash ...can i leave it out of I don't have extra eggs
Leanna R.Sampson you can use milk instead
Taste of Trini thank yew they came out great ..everyone loved them
Where can i get the piping tube to buy
Hey, I got it on Amazon 🙂
Hey,what brand of butter did you use? I tried it twice tonight with kerrigold but I had to discard it because the mixture didnt came together. The oil was running all over and the mixture was wet. Please help.
Hey, I'm so sorry this happened. Did you double or triple the recipe by any chance? Butter tends to act funny when you change the proportions.
Hi Natasha could you say how you prepared the chicken breast?
Her name is Reshmi...Natasha is from Trini cooking with Natasha
heyyyy it hurts that i stumbled on your video after trying another.im a first timer with making puffs.you prepared your viewers for what not to do lol like mine one had pointy tips...it really burned.will be watching u from now.good job
I made it but it dropped and got flat what did I do wrong
gosh,i innocently came here just to learn the recipe, now she make me hungry lol
Lol oh gosh, sorry
Good night everyone I just made a batch and the middle didn't cook properly 😥 somebody help me please what I did wrong

When are you having a party so I can taste your cooking? Lol
+PATR1CKLW Lmao, one day
how much butter is it one stick
Chandra Kandha 1/2 cup of butter.
luv d puff but half cup butter when it is soft or hard
Chandra Kandha butter isn't measured like that. It says how much it is on the package. If you're using a blue band butter, 1 stick is 1 cup, so you will need to use half of that stick of butter
thanks always want to no to make puff.
You're welcome!

I'll do it soon for you, look out for it! ☺
When in the eggless puff recipe coming out.
what tempature?
375F
pls give amt of butter the first time i madecwas so good this time no micture was too soft
Chandra Kandha 1/2 a cup
Thanks for the video it was very helpful but that does'nt look like a CUP of water it looks a bit more
I tried it today it was raw inside plz tell me what went wrong I did everything as directed
All I can think of is that the oven wasn't pre heated to the correct temperature or it didn't bake long enough.
Uk call it volley vons
That's like 21puffs you got from the mixturs
I know these stuff already
then why are you here? lol
Cuz I ppl have different ways of Making in nah...that's u 😊
Hi do you have an eggless version of this recipe please?
I forget it come out flat
A whisk to mix the flour, butter and water would’ve halved your time. Great recipes.
Was wondering about this. All the vids I saw, the eggs were stirred in with a spoon or spatula when I'm assuming whisking would be much easier. Is there a reason whisk is not preferable?
find the puff looks alittle dry
cant hear ur voice... :( Too low.
