You give some nice clear directions. In this one tho, you seem to have cut out part of the removal process - the bit where you gain access to the anchor bolt - it is not easy to access and you skipped straight past it. One minute its bolted - next minute magically its free and you are rolling up the seat belt fully removed.
This helps in so many ways!! Thank you!! I have a primarily grey interior and I'm slowly converting it to black from left over parts in a salvage yard. This is exactly what I needed to know, thanks again!!
Need to replace the rear center seat belt on my 06 Jetta TDI. The lower torx is easy to reach under the trunk carpet at the base of the seat but the upper ratchet is IN the seat. Do you know how to access that without needing to see an upholsterer?
Just did the seatbelts in a 2014 Passat with these exact trims etc. unhooked the positive terminal, installed the new belts with sensors all plugged in. I now have an air bag light and a seat belt light. These were new belts to replace old ones chewed by the owners dog. How to I remove the light(s) / program the new seat belt sensors?
There are a few specialty tools required for this job on a 2000 Tiguan; the last item removed in the video requires some sort of star socket wrench- and this repair is impossible to perform without identifying that tool. BTW: on my Tiguan, there are additional clips on the bottom of the column panel that do not just pop apart- any idea on how to open those without destroying the panel?
I can't believe how your plastic trim went out so easily. I tried this and it is in place so tight. Yours look like you have no clips holding any of the trims. Were they all broken?
Hi sir, thank you for your video. Quick question, where can I find the Screw Driver or socket Specification to remove the Seatbelt, I mean the big Bolts that attack the seatbelt to the chassis? please help
Hi how are you? Can you please make a video of the inside mechanism seat belt work because I opened to unlock and I don't know how to fix it thank you so much.

awesome video, thank you for it. I had a quick question though, my seat belt due to a small fender bender where the airbag came out tightened up, once I remove the airbag, is there a way I can repair it, or would I have to buy a new one altogether? thanks again!
Hi there , so Im wondering what is the reason for removing the seat belt? Also given that you are disconnecting the seat and the seat belt device it might be a good idea to mention to the uninitiated to disconnect the battery .
Can you make a video for removing the car carpet @ golf 4, please? i didn't find any video, i need to take it out to fix a leak problem in car, it stink's like a dead animal in my car :(
Hello. Excellent video. Breaks it down very well. 2 questions. Was that a golf mk6? If not does your method work as well for the mk6? And secondly the yellow plastic tool you used, where can I buy one please? Thanks
Very useful post, used today to replace a mkiv seat belt. As per the video voice over you'll need a 17mm socket. The video misses out the bottom bolt but its 17mm again though because of the angle its a bit awkward and tight. I cut the narrow piece of underlay and the used a sharp knife (ceramic) the bit of carpet (as its ends up behind the trim) just to create a bit more of a gap to undo the bolt. Thanks for posting ! :)
Hi. I watch all your videos cuz i own a mkiv to and like to mod/work on my own car to as a hobby! Many thanks for these guided videos. I see your door light flickering at 28 secs. Mine does this too ( door and interior lights) when i leave the doors open. I thought it was because a failing microswitch but it seems to be normal? Something with the relais? Do you have an email adres where i can ask you questions? Got a lot to ask. Thx
Watched this and thought ‘that looks easy’. Needless to say on my Passat b7 estate the plastics wouldn’t separate and before I ended up destroying everything I put it back together. End result is the seatbelt is lock f**ked lol
Why don’t people who post this sort of thing right and the title of the video? What model and year you’re dealing with so that the rest of the world doesn’t waste their time looking at the wrong video?
The audacity of you complaining about help and advice you are getting for absolutely free. Your entitlement is absolutely disgusting. Do you have any idea how difficult and time consuming it is to make a video like this?? NO. Because all people like you do is moan and complain, yet bring nothing of any relevance to the table.

No problem, glad I can help
Cheers mate. Clear and simple method of instruction. Top class.
Hello.
And the center rear seatbelt? How change it?
Does this apply to VW golfs? Do they have the same type of seat belt system?
Is it the same for all VW models? How about Passat b7?
I can't believe how your plastic trim went out so easily. I tried this and it is in place so tight. Yours look like you have no clips holding any of the trims. Were they all broken?
So I removed my belts already and they retracted all the way, how do you get them unstuck for reinstall?

Most instructive, however I'm looking for rear seat center belt information. The seatbelt is fully retracted & won't extend.
Thank you

They lock on in a crash, so need replacing
Is there a way to unlock the seatbelt wjen it goes too far inside?
You can release it from the bolt end to give it some slack to release
Thanks for showing the trim removal, just what I was looking for :) (hope it's about the same for a Fabia)

It's a mk4
Very nice. My passenger front seatbelt has been twisted the wring way for a while and just irritating until now.
And done. That s**t was like a constant water drip on the forehead.
Does the seat have to be fully removed for remv./inst. or was that just to get the camera a better view?
Wow! So helpful my friend! I appreciate you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Thank You :)
+BMAC VAGS please advise where is the crash sensor located in VW Golf MK4. thanks
Once again … exactly what I was looking for 👍

Be careful in Vw Polo 9n is other way around..vertical panel is under screws and the bottom one is on clips, and there is no bolt at the rear end.
Have great times & great Holidays!
Thank you , you save my time :D !
Cheers Bud got me out of a muddle
Thank you for this video!
Thank you for taking the time to comment

DONT UNDER STAND YOUR ACCENT..AS TO WHAT U ARE SAYING..
Bunch of novices all of these seat belt videos don't even have the tools required. What kind of diy video does t have that? A poorly thought out one.
