I am afraid of bikes in general, just imagining manually shifting gears while keeping your balance is insane to me! If you can do that its very impressive!

Yes also if starter motor fails and in some other rare situations but at that point the car is piece of shit anyways lol also yeah you can bypass many ignition interlock systems..

    about that car theft 🤣
I have a old 90’s civic which are really easy to steal poor guy didn’t know how to make the car move 🤣 so I waited for him on the corner and told him either you try to steal my car or make a run for it coz cops are on their way

I never mixed up a gear when I was learning. Stalled it a few times though

I remember breaking my manual transmission by violently shifting from 4th gear to 1st (had it mixed up and was panicking because of the speed) the clutch just flushed in and couldn't keep it up.

    I am learning stick in a 1999
Honda civic coupe and my biggest fear is burning the clutch. The gas pedal in the car I’m learning in is sensitive and I sometimes when I try to press it gently it gets loud as if I floored it and I heard that if I give it too much gas that can burn the clutch can someone help ?

    Rear wheel drive.
Simple to access engine bay. Hopefully, with a quality motor.
    Manual transmission.
    Low level of pointless electronics.
    Parts availability.
The first answer should be Miata.

Learning to drive a manual is not that hard, a new driver should have it figured out within a few days. Why sacrifice clutch and transmission wear by engine braking all the time? Brakes are a lot cheaper and easier to replace. Clutching is not that hard on your leg, no more strenuous than walking out to the car.
