    Great product and video
    Seems like you glossed over the wiring though

      Same problem for me sitting here trying to do the installation and spending more time trying to figure out how to run the wiring and removal the panels.

    Do you have another video displaying the fuse relocation and harness extension as well as connecting to the up-fitter switches?

    I’m curious about how well and long the ARB compressor works being open to the elements, I know some people put them in the engine bay which is hot but is protected from the rain, but this unit looks like it could get wet a lot. Are the ARB weather proof to a certain degree?

    What about combining with aftermarket tire carrier reinforcement. I feel like I might be adding a lot of accessories to the tailgate. Maybe the mount you provide may be able to be incorporated into a reinforcement bracket.

    Gary, great install video! Any chance on getting the wiring extension or the other wiring extension you mentioned from another vendor?

      Thank you! The extension harness mentioned is linked here:
      expeditionessentials.com/products/bedside-compressor-mount-extension-harness
      If you wanted to make a harness yourself, you could extend the ARB harness using 10 gauge insulated stranded copper wire, available at many hardware stores or online retailers. Good luck, and feel free to ask any other questions that you may have.

      Do we need to extend two harnesses? Or is it just the main harness that’s required and second is for switching, which only needs to be extended if you want an upfitter to control the compressor and/or if you want the ARB switch located up front?

    Great, what is the type or model of ARB air compressor that fits behind. Is it in the website?
    Thanks

    Currently have one under the hood but very interested in relocating. Any way I could get more information about the wiring aspect? The extension harness you mention have one end ready to connect to the battery and aux switch leads?

      The extension harness shown in the video is linked below. This extension plugs in between your compressor and the harness that is supplied with your compressor- it simply extends it.
      To extend the factory ARB harness yourself, you would cut the ends (eyelets, etc) off of the harness that comes with your compressor, and attach (crimp, solder) wires long enough to reach your engine compartment. The fuses should be reattached as close to the battery as possible.
      To hook to a upfitter switch, the purple wire from the small connector will connect to an upfitter switch wire under the hood. A good reference video is linked below as well.
      Email us at sales@agsoffroad.com for any further questions. Thanks!

    I'd love to do this on my Bronco Raptor. Any chance you have one in the works for the Raptor?

    Is the filter relocation kit required? I know ARB compression filters are pretty robust as is

    • @agsoffroad
      @agsoffroad  ปีที่แล้ว

      The Filter Relocation Kit is not required and is sold separately. We recommend it if you plan on using the compressor in dirty, dusty, or wet conditions, or if you simply want the peace of mind that your compressor is always drawing in clean, cool air.

    This would work on the base steelie wheels, yes?

    • @agsoffroad
      @agsoffroad  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      The mounting bracket for the ARB Twin will fit, but the In-Wheel Accessory Mount with the Chuck Mount only fits 17” wheels and larger. Also the holes in the steel wheels are unfortunately too small for the air chuck to fit through.

    Could this work for the single arb?

    • @agsoffroad
      @agsoffroad  ปีที่แล้ว

      No, this model only works for a dual ARB compressor.
