The second-place dude is a straight-up anime character. The first round meant that if he wanted, he could win first place, but that was not his goal, so he goofed around and feigned arrogance to win the real prize: ramen. He calculated this outcome from the very beginning. In the end, he was the real winner of this fight.
He might have also thrown it for an even more basic reason. He was a young adult who signed up based on the rules of the match so to speak, but he failed to read the room. He was into the competition because it was his sport, and he just trounced everyone because it was just a bunch of kids playing around... but he was looking forward to facing off against the girl who was just bodying the competition because maybe she'll be a real challenge... but then she wasn't. She was just as much a total noob at this as everyone else... and that's when it hit him, what he signed up for was not what he thought he signed up for... so he threw the match because it wasn't his match to win. But he toyed with the girl because he was expecting to get some fun out of this.
That's a possibility, too, but I still prefer to believe he did that just to get the ramen. I mean, no one would pass on the opportunity to get free food, and even if the girl was more skilled and stronger at Korean wrestling, the inner strength advantage he has over her as a man wouldn't have changed the result of the fight. In fact, if my interpretation is correct, he read the room pretty well, considering that he defeated everyone effortlessly and got what he wanted, but that's just a theory. ̶ ̶̶̶A̶̶̶ ̶̶̶G̶̶̶A̶̶̶M̶̶̶E̶̶̶ ̶̶̶T̶̶̶H̶̶̶E̶̶̶O̶̶̶R̶̶̶Y̶̶̶.̶̶̶

My cousin is a history professor. One day he brought training swords and shields over and we beat the crap out of each other. Most of the duels ended on the ground in wresting matches as we attempted get our swords to the other person.
As an aggressive rugby player, I can relate as well. One time during training I slammed into one of our smaller players while on a run. Sent the poor lad flying, although, that’s pretty normal for rugby. Didn’t work out well, smashed my ankle on a run at a match
I was the exact opposite, a shy band kid in high school. I broke three arms and four legs by accidently bumping into people as the 6'4," 310 lbs 14-yr old. It did not help the shyness.
If you finish a fight you didn’t start, or at least make it through without backing down, you are brave. If you start a fight, though, the line between bravery and stupidity becomes very clear.
I understand your philosophy but also don't. I'd say fighting in a fight that you didn't start or want would be rather idiotic. And on the contrary commencing a fight doesn't mean stupidity exactly. There could be other factors that could justify the reasoning (although violence still isn't 100% correct either way)
Sometimes you need to stand up for yourself and those you care about, even if you have absolutely no intention of causing harm to others… that being said, I’ve caused more fear in an opponent from being able to take a hit than actually hitting them back.
@@Mysticfateee If it's the latter, then that's super creepy. I think she mentioned that he was a lot older than the others participating in the video. So for significantly less creep-factor, let's just assume he wanted the ramen.

The one time i can think of is my dad getting me into bowling, at first i did it for fun when i was young, but after some time i love the competitiveness of the sport. Started when i was 8 or 9 and now at 19, it is something that i want to get better even though it feels like I'm at my best.
I always loved bowling, but for some reason I’m either pretty good or terrible. I could get three strikes in a row and then hit no other pins for the rest of the game.
I remember when I was a kid, 8 or 9 years old, the school organized a sack race. I was like 'I'll lose, but let's try,' and my brothers got into it too. Let me turn you into a handle and then hit you out to space!!😃" In the end, my parents were called becoz i broke his nose... But damn that was a surely fun moment I enjoyed!
You mean an ambulance was called? Cause breaking someone's nose means they're pouring blood and permanently disfigured from broken cartilage. Yet you say it was a fun moment you enjoyed LOL. I think you're full of shit
He probably was hesitating. If you don't have a significant training advantage (whether physical fitness or fighting experience), a guy going all in properly will wreck your shit. Hell, in an actual fight I was bloodied, nose broken and the guy still couldn't grapple me to the floor. And I guarantee you the power gap between a woman and a man isn't smaller than the one between me and that guy. Or maybe it is, idk, it was a 2v1 jumping and I had one arm to use only because I didn't think to let go of my dog's leash who was freaking out and not helping matters. Point is, don't get cocky, don't go picking fights you don't need to fight. Not just because we have more than enough women who do that already and it doesn't help anyone, including the girl, but because guys who do that are dipshits and not the kind you should try and compare yourself to. I guarantee you that the vast majority of guys who can wipe the floor with most people are the ones who avoid fighting the most. Just be safe, nothing's worth more than that.
Actually, I just realized that my favorite memory of moment in my life (as of right now) was something I was devastated to do at the start. In middle school, 8th grade, we had spring musical! I was really excited to act and sing and get experience in my half-dream job, but when I found out what play we were doing, I was so upset. We were doing The Little Mermaid, and at the time when I had also discovered the original story of The Little Mermaid, which was horrific to me. So I ended up hating the movie, and I didn’t want to participate in the play, but just because I didn’t want to miss out on the experience, I auditioned for Sebastian. I landed the role and practiced for a total of 7 months, and then it was finally time for the play. I ran the show four times, and it was truely the time of my life. If I really chose not to be in the play, I would regret it for the rest of my life. The show was way too fun to miss out on.
My parents never forced me to do something cause they wanted me to. I'm mainly to shy to speak up for myself even if I'm talking to someone who I can somewhat easily talk to in English or Spanish, I mostly am comfortable speaking up only if I'm with my dad cause he wants me to be grown up. My mom wouldn't mind it cause she knows I can barely say anything to some person in Spanish. But the only thing I did try was theatre at a after school club and honestly it wasn't too bad but my acting was ok, I kept on smiling in scenes in supposed to be sad or serious. I also danced in front of the whole school for some kind of special month and the only danced I hated was the "can't stop the feeling" dance.
The closest i have ever gotten to a fight was with a bully. One p.e. class, we were doing a long distance run, my bully came up behind me and shoved me and sprinted ahead. Eventually he let his guard down, and i caught up and shoved him back. Before this he never got physical. There was no way i was going to end up a puncing bag. So i shoved him and sprinted the rest of the run. I then started to catch my breath because that was a lot. I saw my bully coming at me trying to charge me. So as he got close i sidestepped, grabbed his arms, and used his own momentum to throw him into a wall behind me. As he recovered, the teachers came to stop it. We both got in trouble from the school, but i didn't from my parents because they said i would never get in trouble for defending myself. My bully never did anything to me again, not even verbally
Fights are like that other adult activity: fun to get into when it's between to consenting parties of matching ages. Violent attacks that become fights aren't fun. But I can tell you that you probably don't need to be too concerned. Sparring is done at multiple levels of intensity, and you can work your way up to "live" sparring with 0 compliance.
4:23 BRO, THIS IS THE MOST RELATABLE THING. I love sports, like volleyball and football but it always pisses me off when the boys say “they’ll go easy on us” and I always say no really loudly (even if my friends are considering that option…). Because if they go easy, and you win, it’s not winning. It’s just pity, and I personally hate being pitied. So yeah, it was amazing finally being able to relate with someone, and thanks for understanding my frustration. (I also understand the physical differences between a guy and a girl.) 👍👍
Honestly I tend to have the same massive personality shift, typically the quiet, nervous, and awkward strange corner person, but the second a physical competition comes up that I even remotely care about, my ferocity is unmatched.

2:23 *w h a t*
3:23 ngl i feel that one too, when your sibling gets praised and you are just there........ munching away some snacks...... in utter silence.....
I would've had no faith if there wasn't so much foreshadowing and context 💀💀
NEW YOONTOONS VIDEO!! i have waited for this "very long"
I just imagine Yoon yelling: "Fuck it, we ball!" At the gym lol

6:12 In yo face SON 😂🌟👑 !!!!!!!!
Stay groovy
Honestly I tend to have the same massive personality shift, typically the quiet, nervous, and awkward strange corner person, but the second a physical competition comes up that I even remotely care about, my ferocity is unmatched.
