- Effective number of atoms of simple cubic unit cell, Face centered cubic unit cell and Body centered cubic unit cell has been explained. The relation between edge length of the unit cell and the radius of the atom has also been explained for deriving the Packing fraction of SCC, FCC and BCC unit cells.

Which set of following characteristics for ZnS crystal is correct?
(a) Coordination number (4 : 4); ccp; Zn⁺⁺ ion in the alternate tetrahedral voids
(b) Coordination number (6 : 6); hcp; Zn⁺⁺ ion in all tetrahedral voids.
(c) Coordination number (6 : 4); hcp; Zn⁺⁺ ion in all octahedral voids
(d) Coordination number (4 : 4); ccp; Zn⁺⁺ ion in all tetrahedral voids.
Option a
@@chemistrydemystified9923 thanks but how kindly ma'am when you will upload the mcq of solid state kindly also involved these mcq a and explain them in your mcq videos☺
@@letdesignsomething7266 sure !
Thank you so much
Thank you so much mam
THANK YOU SO MUCH...........
Good job
great
Tysm👍🏻
Nice .
Super madam
Family👪👪👪👪 is my favorite song🎵 I love❤❤
Thanks again
Thank you ma'am
Thank you mam 💓
Ma'am you have a mistake on number of (r) it's should be (3r)not (4r)
Isn't it supposed to be 6r ??
tq soo much mam
How the contribution of face centre cube is 1/2?
Picture a huge cube containing multiple of these smaller cubes, the corner atoms will be in 8 dimensions while the face centre atoms will only be in 2. This basically means a corner atom would be in 8 cubes, thus it's volume will be 1/8 per cube while the volume of a center atom will be divided by 2 cubes which means 1/2V per cube.
Assertion : In ZnO, the excess Zn^(2+) ions are present in interstitial sites. Reason : Metal excess crystals have either missing cation or anion in interstitial site.
Kindly solve this question
On 15:49 i feel there was a mistake. Is the AD=4r or 6r. I feel its 6r.
It is 4r. For two atoms at the corners only you have to count only 1r for each and for the atom in the centre. It is 2r. Hence 1r+1r+2r=4r
Thanks mam
11:24 fan someone explain this part to me? i don't get it.. i thought its supposed to be a=4r/square root 2?? im so confused
حتى انا +2
اعتقد انها حفظ ؟!
Mam diagram shows only 7 corner atom
14:18 pe 1×1+1 aayega
