    What my professor was unable to make me understand in 3 long lectures, you just did that in 20 minutes💥

    Please make more of these videos, this does such a better job of explaining the topic compared to any other resource I've used! I wish there was more for similar topics

    Thanks for breaking the topic down as it's a bit too difficult without enough visualization. I enjoyed the excellent and straightforward information with comedic scenes.

    I am speechless, this video covers in 20 mintues what 3 weeks of lecture tried and failed to teach me. I really thought this was some big materials science channel i somehow had never seen, the quality of this is so good. Everything from the amazing art to the great jokes, and even just the way you explain this really complicated and annoying topic in such a straight forward way is beyond impressive.
    Sorry if I went overboard, I have been comfused by this topic for ages and seeing it summerized so well feels sureal. I don't know if you have any interest in science education, but you have the potential to be an amazing teacher if you ever want to make more videos like this.

      @@redhairshanks9491 thank you! It is always wonderful to get feedback on what (continues to be) a passion project. I am planning on expanding this into a series once I finish up my pHD, perhaps with a release in the relatively near future.

    Just wanted to say great video, there's a clear passion and understanding for the subject here. I've watched consumed many materials on this topic and they always felt impersonal and technical. But this video strikes a great balance between informative and comedic, drawings look good too and are easy to understand. Love it.

    Just don't understand at 10:58 how you got that √3a

    • @collinandersen3369
      @collinandersen3369  ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Let me see if I can help. Draw a right triangle where the diagonal in question is the hypotenuse. Label it x as the length we are solving for. The other arms of the triangle are known: "a" for height and "√a" for the square diagonal. Solve using the pythagorean theorem a^2 + b^2 = c^2. You fill find that a^2 +2a^2 =x^2 which then simplies to √(3a^2)=x. Thus, x=√3a.
