I don't usually comment on educational videos, butI have been confused about how Miller Indices work for what feels like forever! Your trick for factoring out numbers larger than one just gave me a breakthrough. Thank you!
that moment wen you are confused before the exam and you find the break through..that info is very helpful .I wuldnt waste my time to go and see the lecturer..U THE BEST
Thank you, you don't know Ma'am how I appreciate and understand more your lecture aside from my modules. It's crystal clear!!! I hope you're safe and sane Ma'am. Thank you
I have a fluid mechanics background, and I have almost zero ideas about crystal structures. This video was the first one that I could actually learn with watching it only once! great work! i'm just gonna hit that subscribe button which is the least i can do to motivate you to keep the good work. thank you again!
I think they draw the line out of the cube to show that it can exist as any length. A unit vector describes the slope therefore the red line is just a part of a direction.
I chose your video on the random basis. I think your explanations are pretty much straightforward. Thank you! As a matter of fact, I think that red arrows going beyond the cell are not that much confusing. :)
Thank you! That book is really good - I was having a really hard time figuring out what the heck was going on in Atkins and had resorted to wading through Sands - your video really helped me out! Really wish I had this in college!
great, amazing way to explain it, just if it would have included the physical meaning of these directions then I would love you for ever. Thank you a lot.
Dear ma'am, if we are asked to draw the crystallographic direction given by the Miller indices [333], then shouldn't this direction be the same as that given by the Miller indices [111]
Can you please explain how to draw this plane (236). I do not understand where to use the LCM and the inverse of the numbers to find the plane of the miller indices. Thank you!!!
You are literally a godsend. You explained in 7 minutes what my professor hasn't been able to do in 12 weeks. Thank you!
haha 😄 :)
Same to me 🙂oh god
Bruh
makes me wonder what I'm paying for
Thank you kindly Linda! Two years of Nano crystallographic lessons condensed into 7 minutes! I sincerely appreciate your instruction!

Nice! I'm glad it helped

Finally a clear explanation of this thing =) !!
Thanks from Brazil!
I couldn't find anyone explaining what directions of form or the "families" were or how to use them. This was very helpful. Thanks a bunch!
One of the simplest way to explain, definitely gonna recommend for the students, thanks!!!
Thank you, you don't know Ma'am how I appreciate and understand more your lecture aside from my modules. It's crystal clear!!! I hope you're safe and sane Ma'am. Thank you
Wow this is going to help me so much for my midterm, thank you so much! You are brilliant.
Thanks a lot. I confused about Transmission electron microscopy course that I took with lack of knowledge, you save my life madam.
I'm watching from Turkey, I don't understand in my own language, I understood it from here, thank you endlessly
pipi
Thank you so much for making this so easy to understand! Best resource that I have come across by far.

Awesome! I couldn't understand this in multiple lectures of one hour long. I just did with you in a couple of minutes. Thanks a lot!
This is probably the best explanation on crystallographic directions. Thank you so very much for clearing all my confusions :-)
NOW this is MUCH BETTER than the ones explained by those professors.
thank you for having an amazing and not a revolting voice unlike another video i was trying to watch
The best on the internet!!!! Thanks, its better than my proff
This 7 minute video is equivalent of 2 hrs of book reading this topic.
wonderful! this helps clear up how to do those negative directions easily
you're a legend linda, absolutely sensational

Thank you from Algeria 🇩🇿👩🏻🎓
Okay this saved my butt, literally the best way to explain it tysm love from quarantine
Hahaha Same thing. Btw online videos are much better than online class
So helpful thank you so much
Its the best explain in TH-cam
I chose your video on the random basis. I think your explanations are pretty much straightforward. Thank you!

Thank you Ma'am, all the way from Zimbabwe 😊
Thx a lot! Great video! This is very helpful to my mid term exam!
I was looking everywhere, but for the love of god could not understand how it works when there is a negative number.
Thank you so much!
Thank you so much, everything is clear now!
Thank you! That book is really good - I was having a really hard time figuring out what the heck was going on in Atkins and had resorted to wading through Sands - your video really helped me out! Really wish I had this in college!

Learning in 2021, revising for my final, THANK YOU!
This is so great, i'm really grateful. Thank You!
Fantastic, That's some easiest teaching
i totally understanded about direction index. thank you very much!
Thank youuuu! You were so cute and helpful😊
man as much as i love this video its really sad how much money i pay for my professors to fail to teach simple concepts like this
Thank you so much , I wish that you are well
Thanks for explaining so easily.
Thanks from Jamaica! :)
Just thnks for life i ws so cnfsd before..u best
Simply explained.... Thank you mam!
Your examples were awesome! Chur for that!! You should be a teacher!

Thanks alooooot .... It s very helpful
Great explanation!
oh my god i had never been so confused like that " the miller confusion"
Much better than my prof!!!
Thank you … 30 mint to quizzz saved me
superb, maza aa gaya behna (Y)
Thanks alot Linda
Still the best in 2020✨✨
There are heroes who don't need to have superpowers.
a great teacher .. thank you very much :)
amazing am so happy thank you very nice and easy
thanks a lot for this video i advice student to watch it soooo amazing thanks again
Also best in 2020
And will be in the coming future.
Thanks madame
what do you do if you have two negative directions like [-1-1 0] do you pick x or y?
Thank you very much, this was extremely helpful!
thank u mam for clearing my confusion
Fantastic, isn't there any other about Miller indicies?
very very well explained, tysm!
that's helped! Thank you from Switzerland! :D
Amazing!!! Great tutorial thanks
great, amazing way to explain it, just if it would have included the physical meaning of these directions then I would love you for ever.
Thank you a lot.
Thank you. It was very useful.
Thanks from Hong Kong
thank you very much and keep it up...
[how you determine the direction[ -212
Thank You!I was so confused about this!
Really helpful 😊
thanks from Brazil
Thank you so much!! much understood
This really helped, Thank alot !!
Dear ma'am, if we are asked to draw the crystallographic direction given by the Miller indices [333], then shouldn't this direction be the same as that given by the Miller indices [111]
Can the end point in determining the Miller indices for directions lie on a plane? Yes or no
you're awesome thanks for helping :)
Best video ever!
lmao Zoom class is so useless, this was great
The video was really helpful. Thanks a lot. However, the drawn [-110] direction is incorrect here.
Can you please explain how to draw this plane (236). I do not understand where to use the LCM and the inverse of the numbers to find the plane of the miller indices. Thank you!!!
It did, thank you!!!
I'm grateful!
thank you. its very helpful
that was really educating lecture, thanks
Thanks that helped so much
THANK YOU SO MUCH🙏🙏
Thanks , it helped a lot
That was totally cool!!!!
