really loved your previous video, hardly any videos out there that dicussed the camera of this phone in that detail. You made me happy about my purchase, thanks!
Hell yeah, there's about to be a total revolution for Android For the inability to set auto ISO with a manual shutter speed, it comes down to the Camera2API. It only allows for either full auto or full manual. The two options are OEMs expose the option, or a full manual code is written by devs, which may sadly not happen in the near future
Interesting, that explains it! It's still fairly easy to work around, and to be honest, when shooting raw it's always a good idea to just keep ISO at base.
Damn, really extracting every bit this hardware has to offer, would also love to see your color grading process, like a short tutorial or something….great stuff!
Have you applied noise reduction in videos? How does videos do at night? You could also try a video test at night, perhaps with better grading or in Direct Log ProRes HQ (Maybe you could upload the video in 4K HDR)
What is the max ISO the VIVO x100 Pro can shoot in in lowlight video? Like for example on the Xiaomi 14 Ultra I in the main camera app, Pro modus (4k & 1080p) I can go up to ISO 32.000 with Auto exposure and manual shutter can go to 1/8 sec. Am still doubting if I want to make the jump to the Vivo x100 Pro as I am planning to shoot video often in lowlight, (dynamic range isn't off such big importance for me, but the max ISO/exposure in lowlight video is.) Thx in advance.
I know you primarily focus on the camera, but it would be great to hear your opinions on the battery life and just the user experience as someone who daily drives the device. Not an objective tech review with spec sheets and numbers, rather a qualitative look into how the phone fits into your life. Cheers
In my One Plus CE 5g it's only hd without frame dropping 😢 but still the results are amazing especially in skin tones look like from cinema camera even better than some DSLRs can provide. Of course still it's look like from phone footage maybe 1inch sensor owner in smartphone will more get real cinema camera type looking footage consider that BMPCC OG have very close to one inch sensor size sensor. So this app is still for flagship smartphone owners because in need a lot of hardware power to shoot hi resolution footage. But if want get maximum quality for color grading it's a best app that available today.
Thanks. Great video and information. I have the x100 Ultra, installed Motion Cam pro, but can't find the 85mm and 16mm lens setting. Only the 24mm is available. Any settings I need to change? Thanks
How are you able to avoid the terrible rolling shutter on the telephoto lenses shooing on Motioncam? There is no option to turn on digital stabilization from ISP, unlike Mcpro24fps.
@@SovietLensReviews it does look like hdr or hlg converted to rec709 without tone mapping, so all the highlight and shadows informations are gone, or another reason... I think it is really hard to degrade footage like that just by normal grading ;)
Hi mate, I know this is an old video, but I would love to ask if you ever shooting video and save it straight to the SSD with the Vivo X100 pro. I am considering purchase this phone atm. Thanks
@@SovietLensReviews What about digital stabilization? Your telephoto footage doesn't seem to have terrible rolling shutter, but you also were panning slow.
"Does it really support 10-bit, or is it just a simple conversion? I mean, is it comparable to using Apple ProRes on the Apple 15, or even close to that?"
What a frustrating video as you didnt really showcase the benefits of RAW shooting and the HDR benefits. Your grading is so offf. Highlights blown out and crused the blacks completely.

Almost a $2K phone I'll skip.

Really good , motioncam pro take Mobile Videography to Next Level

thanks a lot the problem is that we can share it diretly in whatsapp/telegram? in other phones in want play directly on those platforms right?
Good Stuff!
Thanks Sebastian, love the app!
Thanks for sharing. Great 10 bit video. Am considering the Vivo 100 Ultra. Am wondering if that has 10 bit video as well.
keep these videos coming please! more into pro picture mode maybe or astrophotography
Could you please do your take on the Xiaomi 14 Ultra? I’m cross shopping between this phone and the Xiaomi 14 Ultra 😅

Have you tried making cinematic portrait video uaingthe back camera? How's its performance?
Can flashlight be used when recording
Looks good, but I have not yet found a purchasing alternative out here in Europe.

u this vlog with vivo x100 pro ?

Although I don't have the Ultra, may be an issue with that

I didn't see any? 4:39 good example, that was shot on the 100mm lens I'm pretty sure, and the train has almost no rolling shutter.
will this run on Origin OS?
You are using motion cam wrong. All the highlights are totally blown out. And all the blacks are totally crushed. Footages look really horrible!
To be honest I think it's just my bad grading, I'm sure the footage itself was actually fine/not clipping.

very very cool but not enough depth of field. any way to create it?
Using a full frame camera instead? :D

@@SovietLensReviews Thanks for the info mate.
The video is appreciated, but those configurations really look disastrous. I prefer the stock camera a hundred times over the ones you showed
I agree. THis guy is one of the worst color graders Ive ever seen.
Hello! Good video, what program do you use to grade? I tried to import DNG files to premier and it seems unsupported
I use Kdenlive, a free/open source editor. Might make a video on it.
Please do x100 snapchat zoom test 🙏
I’ve heard vivo doesn’t allow ois support for 3rd party apps, is it true for motioncam as well?
OIS seems to work, at least with the telephoto.
