Davy Knowles knocks another one out of the park with George Harrison's Hear Me Lord from All Things Must past on which Peter Frampton played then and now again on this track which he produced as well. Why hasn't this kid been picked up on radio more?
Forgive me lord Please, those years when I ignored you, hmm Forgive them lord Those that feel they can't afford you, hmm Help me lord, please To rise above this dealing, hmm Help me lord, please To love you with more feeling, hmm At both ends of the road To the left and the right Above and below us Out and in, there's no place that you're not in Oh, won't you hear me lord (Hear me lord) (Hear me lord) (Hear me lord) (Hear me lord) At both ends of the road To the left and the right Above and below us Out and in, there's no place that you're not in Oh, won't you hear me lord Help me lord, please To rise a little higher, hmm Help me lord, please To burn out this desire, hmm Hear me lord, please Hear me lord, please Oh, won't you please, please Hear me lord Oh, hear me lord Hear me lord Oh, won't you please, please Hear me lord My lord, my lord, my lord (Hear me lord) Now, won't you please (hear me lord) My lord, my lord, my lord Won't you please / (Hear me lord) Oh, hear me lord, hear me lord (Hear me lord)
i used to cut school, smoke weed, and listen to 'Frampton Comes Alive'. never much liked or owned any Beatles, but Davy's always been a blessing. fat cat's learn there's greater fortunes in dead musicians than live ones, so it's nice to see such a low-key humble treasure on top of the world. when Joe Bo leaves the scene, Davy will fill his shoes
Apparently it was only when they had actually started recording this song that Peter Frampton let on to Davy that he had in fact also played guitar on the original Harrison recording ! Wonderful synchronicity -- hope this video helps drive people to the Unicef /Concert for Bangladesh websites...
wtf man?! In no way at all is Davy lost!! have you heard him lately? He's absolutely amaaazing!! Evidently, you are the only one here that is lost thinking that Davy needs anyone else to give him direction. He;s the most soulful singer out there. Admit it.
@ Dan Stroberg Are you serious man! Knowles is the genius and frampton over rated? Are you forgetting kmowles didn't come up with the melody lyric idle chords, old george did that & frampton, the lead It's not about how many notes you can get out f a bar mate it's how they're sustained
Fuckin hell...a youngster comes along, covers a song that's already written for them and done well and gets called a genius... George's demo's were almost as good as the polished product as the substance was always there It's a damn fine version and his voice outdoes George's on his own song but genius?? Get real.

Imagine how much good has been accomplished and is still being done by the Concert for the Bengali people after so many years later....
Davy's passion is on fire. I'm playing this in church next sunday. The combination of Davy and Peter are explosive. Great great job.
Great voice

Terrific cover! Thank you for sharing and God bless everyone from Patrick
Have seen both Davey and the band as well as Peter. A match made in heaven I'd say! :) Just gorgeous really.
Excellent song! I like it a lot. George would have really appreciated it.
Peter Frampton is so good
I got the chance to see him, and his boy’s rock out at Darys House in Pawling NY… In a word…. WOW I’m a fan for life!!!
Peter Frampton excelente guitar👏👏👏👏👏👏👍.

love this song!
Awesome, absolutely lovely, thanks.
Me ha gustado mucho esta versión. Que bonita canción de George Harrison.
Class Davy & Crew x
Frampton, superb as always. Davy is great when he has good musicians around him. Lately that has not been the case.
Esse versào é massa, parabéns a todos.

I like this version better
thanx
Davy does for this song what Manfred Mann did for Blinded By The Light... a song also written by a musical "genius".
Wonder if there is a copy of Peter Frampton's song "Blooze" on youtube somewhere?
Pete can DEFINITELY play some blues!!
I am not so sure Frampton played on the original ATMP session for this song. For sure he wasn't playing lead guitar.
Goog work. It's the your trouth?
They cut this song about a minute short! Why? There’s a great mini guitar battle between Davy and PF ...
killer $#!T
@rodgmun Somebody must have done something terrible to you. I hope you'll feel better, soon. Have faith and don't let your lip sink.
