Having said that I went to an Eagles concert in Brisbane, Australia in 2021 and Vince Gill was the replacement guitarist/singer for the recently (2016) deceased Glen Frey... I can only say that he was just FANTASTIC in his vocal & guitar expertise... Brilliant..!

I can't think of anyone to mention as a comparison and I'm not an avid fan by any means. It's just that I've never changed channels and I change channels when I hear a lot of crap on the radio of any genre.

I found out only a few years ago that Vince is a pretty funny guy. Look up here on TH-cam where Vince tells his dad that he’s about to meet Dolly Parton. Great story! There’s a few other videos of him telling funny stories as well. But yeah, I wouldn’t have scheduled Vince and Lewis to go back to back.

I can't help but compare Lewis Black to George Carlin. Completely different approaches, but both deliver sublime philosophical messages that go far beyond a simple joke. I was fortunate to meet him outside of a comedy club in Sacramento in the early 2000s after his show, where I was drenched in sweat from laughing so hard.
