And yep, 24 hour after that things are absolutely in the dog shitter again and worse. It's possibly a pig shitter this time. I don't understand why life throws me these curve balls to the face. But it's just enough that I look around and feel like I shouldn't complain. It can be worse. PLEASE don't get worse. I really could rant forever but I'll just say thank you for helping me smile.

Lewis, a similar thing has happened to me. A university in Canada has collected a large body of my work, I’m a painter by the way. I did not even attend this university but what the heck. It is much much better than getting an award from a group of people that are essentially advertising themselves on prime time tv punctuated by more advertising by sponsors. You get awards so that you can get bigger contracts. You get honoured because you have made a contribution.

I was at that show in Atlanta, and that guy was several seats down from me. I assume he was drunk, Lewis, you handled it with great restraint and professionalism. The guy was a tool and wouldn't let you work. I am a very strong conservative and have followed your career for 30 years, (saw you at the Punch Line in ATL in the 90's), point being I know your humor and as you STATED at the beginning of the act that if you don't find something funny, uh, DONT LAUGH, persistent heckling is the sign of insecurity. And again you handled it with professionalism and thinking of the rest of the audience that came and paid to see YOUUU. Thanks again, and see you next time in Atlanta....

"Could not read the written word" reminded me of a science fiction story that I read about 35 years ago. There were two factions and they were at war. One side came up with an advantage. One person began sending messages to the front lines using the written word. It had been centuries since anyone used the written language to communicate. The general in charge heard about it and so, had his advisors study the messages in detail. They all eventually agreed that indeed, the written language did look very much like the digital version of language and was valuable because the enemy could not read. The general also realized that this was extremely valuable as a weapon and since the soldier who had utilized this secretive means of communicating was the sole person alive who understood how to do it, the general had him executed so as to save it from getting to the enemy. I quit trying to use cursive in 1966 at age 8 because...I could not read my written word. HA! I love your podcasts. Carry on sir!

I bought a ticket to Judas Priest last year from Ticketmaster and when I checked out there was an option for "Ticket delivery" and I pressed that. Which took me to a screen that gave me two options, neither of which gave me an option for a paper ticket. And I don't remember where it was exactly located and I remember thinking it was intentionally put on the page where you wouldn't look right away, "Other options". When I pushed that button and low and behold; An option for paper tickets through the mail and it was extra and I got them that way.
Don't know if all shows offer that option but the way it was intentionally misdirecting you to miss that option, I have to believe there are more shows you can do that with..

I transitioned from illustration to, “fine” art when I was 26 years old because I wanted to be able to say whatever I fucking wanted to. I soon realized that though I did say what I fucking wanted to that there were consequences. On WED, it was 88 degrees, made a record in fact. Did you happen to come to WA early to play golf? Because the cold arrived. My maple tree still was green, now the leaves have probably fallen off, because it has gotten torrential rains, and right now it is warm outside, 47 degrees. I find it so amazing that you went to UNC Chapel Hill. How was it for you? Your personality doesn't quite match the 85% in-state student body. I would expect you in NYC, where I also went to school. I remember being in awe when my entire 1,000 student dormitory chanted "Beat the Hell out of Duke" all night long before one of the football games. I believe you can partly blame New York State for this. I noticed the extra mic noise after the bus bounced it's way on our fine goddamn roads. I mean really, the Romans would have their minds blown if they saw a NYS road after a northeast winter. It is the Swiss cheese of asphalt.

South Carolina roads are notoriously bad, for a state that sees very little winter weather compared to the northeast. They don't spend any money on infrastructure. They have one of the highest highway fatality rates in the country.
