In this episode we have the Beolab 4500 at the table. As usual we talk about the product and begin the Disassembly process for the Beolab 4500.
The BeoLab 4500 is a wall speaker with a maximum depth of 8 cm. It employed the wall as a reflector to produce enhanced bass reproduction and an integrated (active) amplifier. You could see on the display which source the BeoLab 4500 was now recreating.
The panel loudspeaker came in two varieties. The main image above displays the BeoLab 4500 with an integrated amplifier and Dynamic Bass Equalizer, as well as the pure Beovox 4500 loudspeaker, which automatically made up for the human ear's incapacity to detect deep bass tones at low volumes.
