26 Glacier Cruise, Whittier, Alaska

This is the first video in the Alaska series. The 26 Glacier Cruise departs from Whittier and travels through the pristine passageways and fjords found in Alaska’s Prince William Sound. The town of Whittier can be accessed after crossing the famous Anton Anderson Memorial Tunnel. This is a once in a life time opportunity to watch glaciers up close. You will be amazed by the mere sight and sound of these natural wonders.
The glacier cruise covers over 140 miles of Prince William Sound including Esther Passage, College Fjord, Harriman Fjord and Surprise Glacier. The cruise route features 26 named glaciers and many others. Many different animals call this area home - bald eagles, black bear, orca whales, humpback whales, sea lions, harbor seals, sea otters and a variety of birds.
