Just watch Morj's stream where he talks about this. Zoro and Franky were never actually supposed to have "an arc for them", but Usopp has a LOT of clues about his charaters development happening in Elbaph, talking about how important it is for him, and luffy even gave Usopp a lecture about how he should be able to defeat the big cat in Lego-land. Usopp is also made to paralell the whole "David vs Goliat", a normal human with a sling-shot vs a giant
This was a good video but there’s too many moments that’s happened in the new world involving usopps weakness for him to not have a power up this arc. For example wano. Usopp was at his weakest moment yet in the show telling nami to lie about luffy not becoming king of the pirates. If usopp keeps that mindset at the end of the series then I really don’t think he’s a good character. Not to mention his attacks literally did nothing to some of the weakest tobiroppo members. The second reason why I believe it will be this arc is usopp runnint from the dog beast. Luffy straight up said “you could have beat it” to usopp. If there isn’t at least some character development in this arc my hope for usopp is gone
How is Franky suppose to develop in a arc that was thrown into a buster call off bat. Vegapunk is apart of the crew now, so it’s no telling what he can still learn.
Wano was Zoro’s arc he just isn’t character focused like how Sanji is. You say he’s Mr Aura, which ok but most of those Aura moments come from Wano. Edit:Also every arc except Reverie is Luffy’s arc. I see it as who gets the 2nd amount of focus. So for me it’s just a different way of seeing things.
I’m not expecting this arc to be centered around anybody except for maybe Robin being the fact she’s about to hopefully see Saul soon but I do kind of expect Oda to give usopp some confidence somehow so that way he knows how powerful he is already. At least so he can use that power better. What everyone seems to forget is usopp has stated many times that he is supposed to be support. He was never a front line heavy hitter. They all have their roles and not everyone can be the “most powerful” at their thing. Like Namis job is to stay safe and give support when she can. She says it all the time. People keep expecting these guys to become invincible but thats not the point of the story. The point is not everyone is supposed to have to be super strong. No one should have to fight. The story gets very realistic in that aspect. Each character knows their strengths and weaknesses and they help each other out. Whether it be robin saving sanji or zoro grabbing chopper and running. They know their abilities at this point
I dont need a Whole Cake Island for Usopp, but maybe something like Nami for Fishman Island! It was nice to see her reaction to Arlong's origin and to see how far she's come from then. Something like that for Usopp would be more than enough for me!
I JUST HOPE ODA DON'T PULL SOME BULLSHIT AND HAVE USOPP DEFEATING GIANTS WITH THAT SLINGSHOT BECAUSE USOPP HAS NOTHING IN HIS ARSENAL TO DEFEAT A GIANT NOT HIS VINES, THAT SMOKE CŔAP, THOSE BAMBOO NONSENSE OR HIS LITTLE FIRE BIRD NOT EVEN HIS IMPACT WOLF (his strongest attack) so unless he gets his rifle in elbaph I refuse to take that fool seriously
So far it’s not , he’s still the same Scarey guy that runs from danger . I hope he get a power up sniping wise and Haki wise with armament and observation
this is why one piece isn't good. People were drawn to and loved the main cast. People fell in love with Zoro's loyalty when he absorbed Luffy's pain, cried for Sunny Go's burning, and laughed with the crew's antics. The world's story was more of a "b" story that the crew was exploring. Now the world story is taking center stage and the moments people loved with the crew have not emerged a single time since. All we get are these forced narratives like look how much the fishmen are suffering, and how Shirahoshi is holding onto a secret since childhood, or look at these kids being turned into giants, or look at these people being controlled by Doflamingo, or this group of people being forced to smile because they ate a smile fruit. I can quite honestly say I didn't give a single shit about any of the intended emotional highs of post time skip. It's much harder to convince people to feel bad for a group of people rather than empathize with an individual because a group of people suffering is just a statistic. The worst part is that there's no reason why the crew should take a back seat to the world building. You can have both! What Oda has done is just bad writing. And of course it's known Oda has been having problems with his health, but I think we can be objective in saying the writing is bad regardless of the reason it's bad. The joy of travelling with a crew is seeing how they change according to the world around them and their experiences otherwise you end up with a documentary. And that's basically what One piece has become. None of the characters we love actually matter except Luffy and it's all about the dynamics of the world government, pirates and nations.
The fact that Elbaf wasn't even supposed to happen in the first place, Oda stated this in an SBS, makes me feel like Elbaf is going to be more of a preparation for the final war and more world building.

did I just stumble upon Kaleb IA's second account?
I'm feeling the same exact way
Naw that’s a different guy entirely, but he does make good videos

I honestly think that it probably won’t be his arc, but I do think he might achieve his dream in this arc

I felt world government is the worst villain as they only wants to suppress people not caring much on their suffering
If its not the monster trio my hope for any of the other strawhats being more useful isnt up there
Its stated to make u wonder why those characters exist
Ussop needs a power up asap. Time to bloom the Haki he got in drerrossa. He is too weak. Nami and chopper can handle business. Ussop still can’t.
When oda sensai told the family tree of zoro in a SBS that’s when I was sure we are getting no special character arc for zoro.
After that u kinda just give up if your not sanji or luffy u prolly not getting shii
After what they did with Zoro and Franky I am way less confident.
I really liked the video, keep up the good work!
Thank you!
There is supposedly only Laughtale left. Something tells me this arc is going to be very different. Everyone is getting Something out of this one.

This arc is most likely gonna be centered around Luffy, with his role as the Sun God

No bad crew members on straw hats crew, they're the best at everything they do and more
Fr bro
When was the last time you saw the crew actually doing their job. I think it's sad how sparse the main cast has become in the main story.
@@WaitingForYukiOnna facts bro but people glaze this series too much to realize.
You sound brain dead and like a npc

Usopp is Thor canon?
NO. Usopp is a gagg character. Period.
@grandlinereview has serious competition
