She never bit me. I knew all the time thou, that she could if she wanted to. She could have really hurt me :( One time I had a ring on my finger and she bit it in two!!! But she was so gentle when she touched my skin :)

Well she ended up giving him to another shelter even further from where I live without even giving me a warning. Just texted me randomly and said hes with someone else and I will not be able to see him again. I already turned the rehabber in for falsely claiming she is certified, which she is NOT. I adored that squirrel and he saw me as his mother, and would always be grooming me and trying to play.

I do live in a place w 5 acres but I also have noisy dogs that bark every tine I let them out. They never bother Newton when she was in the house but they chase everything away from it.

He's will be opening soon. I'm so excited. I do plan on releasing him. I have been reading, looking at videos, and researching on how to release. For now, I want to take care of him as best as I can so he's well prepared to go out into the wild.

If you can rehabilitate him so he can go back to the woods would be great but Newton decided to stay on his own til a few months ago when he/she decided to go :(
I have been nursing a baby squirrel. No one from the wildlife rehabilitation center will take him. He fell from his nest and was dying when I found him. Ants has surrounded him and were biting him, so I took him in and have been caring for him. Squeak is 4 weeks old. How did you build his cage?
