I will always regret never getting to see them live when they were like this. They're so different now and Yu isn't in the group anymore. I understand they grew up and changed,.. but this was a pretty unique and special thing they had going on for a while there. Too bad by the time most of us noticed it it was already over. Would've liked to see the 'Smiley' guitarist live too, when he was alive.
I found out about then in 2012 but I thought they were your typical gimmicky idol group. Eventually listened to them again in 2019 and my perception has changed. Regardless, BM in 2019 has finally gotten their footing again after the challenges they faced in 2018.
So one day you're sitting drinking at 4 in the morning watching Nyangostar videos then this exact banger comes on, and you're like BABYMETAL, what even is dis!? THEN the next day you can't unhear or unsee them performing. So you listen to all their albums from front to back and watch all their live performances. Next thing you're buying their merchandise and totally converted to the Fox God. Okay, thats the story of my life, and im so glad it happened. AND im so glad to say i LOVE Metal, and i will never pigeon hole metal and argue that BM aren't metal. Because my lordy, their live performances can speak for itself.

They remind me of Rammstein in the case of live performance and visual and how big effort they put into it. I think Babymetal has learnt from the previous big bands and it makes them so refreshing and successful now.
I'm 61, and this concept is not new, but it is exacting in its precision. The band themselves is fantastic. The girls are a phenom unto themselves. Reminds me of being stationed outside of Tokyo for 7 years.

Absolutely epic voice Su has. Like it gives me the chills. And this was ages ago, since then she's gotten better. Pretty much sings the whole song clear and on notes. And of course the whole show is amazing+Yui and Moa being half-live is amazing too. I don't care what ppl say, my sensitive-and-picky ears are loving this.
These folks are real professionals. It takes a lot of talent and hard work to go through these performances over and over, specially the 3 girls being so young. I have nothing but respect and admiration for Babymetal, and I'm a 49 year old metal head.

Headbanger. This song makes me feel like I’m not the only one not banging there heads on the wall, doors etc. I fill that in music is the best way of headbands in the whole world. So, I got the DVD of this concert Red Night where both Yui and Moa got injured. On Headbanger, you can really tell the moment Yui falls of the stage because she stops singing, and in IDZ is painful to watch Moa dancing and jumping while she clearly holds back tears after hurting her leg. I really love them, a lot of respect for them.
Definitely for me, one of the best Japanese female metal band with Band Maid .. The musicians are amazing .. the amazing drums, the magic bass. And the 2 guitarists, heavy heavy heavy metals. Thank you girls ... And what energy spent, phenomenal.

…… So story time.... My girlfriend, whom is Romanian and very aware of different cultures mainly here in the west... Anyways a girl she met complimented her ass comparing her to the Barbara character in Bat Metal forever... So my girlfriend asks me about metal and I said lets go to youtube and look some stuff up.... and somehow it lead me to this... I am a total nerd and watch a lot of anime, play a lot of games and am generally aware of most things from foreign countries.... But this... is catchy.... like most songs from japan.... and I regret nothing!!!!!
