Star Wars should have got 3rd. Friends gave a box of parts, the box is nice but the Star Wars ship is better. Even if it was done a bunch of times before. Its an awesome little ship. All the ship builds are like the mini kits in the lego video games.
The box to go with those ornaments is a subtle but appreciated addition. Normally I wouldn't think very highly of a bag of random parts but something about adding that crate to turn it into a "box of ornaments" adds a sort of festive/nostalgia factor
That Avengers minifigures is pretty cool! I'm with you on the spear. I did see the first Black Panther movie, it was awesome. The ships are definitely cool built in the tiny scale from the Star Wars calendar but I wish that they gave us more minifigures Jeremy. I am geeking out with all our Potter fans today. I screamed "Aberforth!" When I punched through today's door. How cool is this!? I did think it was Albus on the box cover and up until today had a nagging thought about what the heck he was doing by the keg. Just as we all suspected, the mini mob gave us ornaments for yesterday's tree. At least it's in a chest and it's festive, right?! Maybe you could put the jet-pack on the gamer chair from City and give it to Star Wars? In addition to that chair not working with the gamer or his keyboard, it's colors are clashing horribly with the rest of set up. Fair judging today Jeremy! I'm breathing a sigh of relief that Potter had that exclusive minifigure today! It's getting exciting!
I personally believe that an advent calendar should have nothing but festive items inside. And it wouldn't have hurt for those dots to be actually printed ornaments. Yay Aberforth 👏 I knew he'd come out on top.
Jeremy are the heartlake city mafia keeping you hostage? 😆 But seriously friends should have been last today for a few 1x1s and a crate imo. But on another note great minifig from Harry Potter today, even though I thought it was dumbledore when I first opened it
I thought the gamer chain was supposed to be some sort of grill or barbecue at first. While it's the completely wrong time of year for that it still might have actually been a better gift
I don't know if you have noticed Jeremy, but in the Harry Potter advent calender, on the inside of the door it shows where does the gift belong. Like today the floor matches to the picture on the door.
Really nice gift from Harry Potter today. I would've loved to see the Friends Christmas tree decorated but Jeremy denied us that, showing only the nice build City gaming chair lying beside the desk. So the scores are : Harry Potter 5 points, Marvel 4 points, City 3 points, Friends 3 (2+1) points, Star Wars 1 point. Total : Harry Potter 47 points, City 42 points, Friends 42 points, Marvel 40 points, Star Wars 37 points.
Oh My, Aberforth! That IS a surprise! I usually don't pick up advent calendars because I get enough joy watching your opening video's, but with all the goodness coming out of the HP advent calendar Im gonna put it on my wishlist! Here come the Hogsmeade add-ons!
Oooh Im conflicted!! I hoped for Friends to score a bit better overall, but with only 2 dolls it’s up to the animals. But without many extras, I dont see them scoring well. That said, 3 points for a box of dots is really a bit much. 1 would have been more than enough. Now on the Star Wars side of things this: I dont like repeat micros either. Especially with Disney farting out new series like there’s no tomorrow, lego has ample inspiration for new micros. However, this imperial shuttle finally resembles the movie props. And the part count was very good too. I would have awarded 3 points.
Hi Jeremy, I've realised that the friends calendar's doors are actually just mirrored compared to the other ones. So if one has something in the bottom right, friends has it in the bottom left. Maybe this'll help find them a bit easier! Crazy how close Harry and Marvel are, but I'm hoping Potter wins!
Friends totally surprised me today. I was expecting the usual bag of spare parts but the crate really makes it a proper festive gift. Good job Lego. I hope there's room in the mafia loft for the crate among the other suspicious packages and violin cases.
I’m a new Lego addict so this is my first Advent Calendar. I have to say the best part is watching this video every day. I love your quirky sense of humor.
the marvel minifig was too high, but other than that you did ok. But i am subtracting 5 points from harry potter because you didnt show the decorated tree.
Hello Jeremy! Long time follower, first time commenter. After today's award points, I think you need to redact and redistribute "festive gift of the day" for Day 12. If each day is judged as a "stand alone" gift, then Lego Friends got a festive gift for a TREE, not a Christmas Tree. It doesn't become a Christmas Tree until it gets todays ornaments. Either that or 1 gift just got 2 points. Pass the Day 12 point over to StarWars' Gonk Reindeer. My two cents. Great content, my family and I watch every year before the kids go to school.
The tree was more festive as the droid even without all the ornaments because of the red base and the space for the star on top. The droid was dressed as a reindeer but not surely like a festive Christmas reindeer. If the tree was just a tree like the ones in a forest I would agree with you that yesterday the droid was the closest to a festive gift than the tree.
But worth 2 festive points? That would be like StarWars adding a single red round stud to make a Rudolph nose in Day 13’s offering and winning festive gift.
Almost but not quite. As I said, it was clear from the first day that the tree will be not a ordinary one, the reindeer leaves more room for interpretation.@@JaymzKay
And there was no single red round stud for the reindeer so today the only festive thing were the tree ornaments from Friends. They played smart for the Jeremy's game. I liked the gonk droid a lot, the shuttle was pretty nice too but those are the rules @@JaymzKay
Fair point well made. I think when they sell undecorated trees for Christmas, they are still sold as Christmas trees. Maybe this is a big mis-selling scandal, and we should start a class action suit against the heirs of Queen Victoria who made the tradition of bringing in the Christmas tree popular.
I guess the "stand alone rule" has died since Friends got the point that Star Wars deserved. Yeah, not amazing having an imperial shuttle, but at least was complete. They got 4 points for something you can't do nothing with
it’s aberforth wow i thought it was just dumbledore im 10000x more excited about it now!!!
Me too!
A box over a nice micro ship is... interesting. Festive point is one thing, but that was a 4th or 5th place box in my opinion.
Being the owner of a crate of ornaments collected over many years, I totally agree!
spot on on scoring.
Thank you!
That Avengers minifigures is pretty cool! I'm with you on the spear. I did see the first Black Panther movie, it was awesome.

Seriously Jeremy, a box of parts beats out a classic ship? Azkaban it is!!! 😂🤔
No, not the kiss!
It's perfectly justified for giving, not just an exclusive figure, but an exclusive *CHARACTER* , gift of the day
I personally believe that an advent calendar should have nothing but festive items inside.
And it wouldn't have hurt for those dots to be actually printed ornaments.
Yay Aberforth 👏 I knew he'd come out on top.
I think that would not be great at all. I like to see stuff that I see in the movies or read from the books
Yes, and yes!
Jeremy are the heartlake city mafia keeping you hostage? 😆 But seriously friends should have been last today for a few 1x1s and a crate imo. But on another note great minifig from Harry Potter today, even though I thought it was dumbledore when I first opened it
Jeremy is totally safe and definitely not being held with Autumn and Churro by the Heartlake City Mafia.
I thought the gamer chain was supposed to be some sort of grill or barbecue at first. While it's the completely wrong time of year for that it still might have actually been a better gift
I have the Friends and Star Wars calendars. The Friends doors are always mirrored to the other 4 sets. Hopefully this is helpful!!!
I don't know if you have noticed Jeremy, but in the Harry Potter advent calender, on the inside of the door it shows where does the gift belong. Like today the floor matches to the picture on the door.
I just learned that trick. A bit late, but better late than never.
Okoye was in the first Black Panther film too! Also a big role in Endgame as she survived the blip
Abertouth Dumbledore is a really good mini figure
I agree with the scoring today. Hope to see the Friends tree get decorated.
The Aberforth Torso sort of reminds me of older LEGO torsos from the 2000s
Star Wars Advent: "What a bunch of ships!"
😂

i wanted to see the decorated tree too
I'll cut LEGO Friends some slack and decorate their tree for Christmas Eve.
With the Friends tree totally decked it is likely to win best tree.
You combined the City & Marvel gifts but not the friends tree expect a visit from the Heartlake City Mafia
I agree
His house is probably heartlake city mafia-proofed
Aberforth! No goat included? That would steal the festive point😅
I hadn’t realized it was Abeforth! Love this gift from HP today
Me too!
Wow I didn’t see the bottom half scoring. Obvs Aberforth would be first but didn’t see friends 3rd when I opened it this morning 😂
Aberforth deserved that win Star Wars has really been slacking just like last year
I'm surprised at myself but I actually like the Christmas decorations set from Friends. That's a good play feature
I may like Okoye more than Aberforth, but an exclusive minifigure beats out a repeat any day.
I really liked lego friends gift today i know has to be judges separately but out of competition thats a great idea
To be fair, Okoye was a pretty main character in both Black Panther movies and was also in Avengers: Infinity War and Endgame.
Oh My, Aberforth! That IS a surprise! I usually don't pick up advent calendars because I get enough joy watching your opening video's, but with all the goodness coming out of the HP advent calendar Im gonna put it on my wishlist! Here come the Hogsmeade add-ons!
Aberforth was great. Now we have to pay for that.
Im so happy I watch you cause I thought Aberforth was Dumbledore😂😂😂
So did I on day one of filming!
I thought so on the box and can't believe I missed the point!

I would have swapped around the scores for Lego city and Lego friends. I actually quite liked the gamers chair
Same here.
I’m genuinely surprised a box of ornaments (even tho it was cute) came first than a full ship 😭😭
It's a contentious decision, but I stand by it.
Will you decorate the friends tree?
On Christmas Eve!
Nice
@@jeremyherbertofficial
I swear that alot of the Calendars are conspiring to have all mini figures on same day.
Okoye was in Both Black Panther and the sequel
I must be weird, I prefer when it's a little build rather than a minifig. My favorite calendar is the City one.
The Friends door is always the opposite side to the other calendars.
Hope this makes finding them easier.
All my (European?) calendars are in the same spot…
@@sleepswithlego weird. I've just noticed a pattern in all of these videos.

Something that might help Jeremy friends numbers are just inverted so look at the other side from the other calendar
What a good day - love the HP minifigure but totally agree with you - why purple? …but I will take it, a great addition
Maybe the purple is a fake-us-out? It worked for me!
Looks like lego friends has sunk deeper into the dark side, a tree is bad, but ornaments taking up a second day?!?
Marvel is proving to be a worthy challenger this year but im sticking to my guns come on potter!!!
So thrilled to get our first ever Aberforth Dumbledore! 1st place well deserved whoo hoo 🎉
Me too. I can't believe I called him Dumbledore on day 1.
A great Hogsmeade surprise!
It’s always a good day when you get a good potter minifig
As a proud owner of the avengers calendar hp totally deserved it today😪
When I was building my imperial shuttle, one of the one by one clear tiles was wedged inside the slope piece. I couldn't get it out.
Hi Jeremy, I've realised that the friends calendar's doors are actually just mirrored compared to the other ones. So if one has something in the bottom right, friends has it in the bottom left. You're right. It took me forever to figure that out. It's a lot easier now.
Friends totally surprised me today. I was expecting the usual bag of spare parts but the crate really makes it a proper festive gift. Good job Lego. I hope there's room in the mafia loft for the crate among the other suspicious packages and violin cases.
Agreed. If it were a random selection of parts, it would have been last place, but packaged up in a nice crate element, it was worth some points.
Pretty fair. The Star Wars calendar seems to have had less minifigures so far. Why didn't you decorate the tree Jeremy!
Why indeed.
I’m a new Lego addict so this is my first Advent Calendar. I have to say the best part is watching this video every day. I love your quirky sense of humor.
Thank you so much. I've been doing this for seven years, so feel free to check out the back catalog!
You found the right place to play along with all of us!
Putting a box of colored tiles ahead of the Imperial Shuttle is a crime against humanity.
I sense you find my lack of faith in The Empire disturbing.
Well that's what the Empire is it for anyway.
Great to see you back. I'm a huge Lego Harry Potter fan and you're, by far, my favourite Lego reviewer
Thanks so much. Good to be back and looking forward to some Harry Potter reviews soon!
Mine too!
Love this series every year Jeremy!
Is the 3x4 minifigure stand in red used for the crate lid exclusive? I don’t think I’ve seen it in red before.
Yay. HP for the win! Yay
She’s in both black panther movies and she’s in infinity war and also in endgame
Friends should have been 4th and SW 3rd. Yes a box of pieces is more festive but that is what the bonus point is for. Still love the video though!
Wow Marvel already popped five of its seven minifigs with almost half the doors to go.
Wow will all 6 HP minifigures b exclusive to the calendar this year?
I hope so!
It would be amazing and make up for the lame filler.
I think the Lego friends calendars doors are flipped
They spoiled the star wars one today on the box too!
It's been a week since star wars has had any real minifigures 😢
the marvel minifig was too high, but other than that you did ok. But i am subtracting 5 points from harry potter because you didnt show the decorated tree.
!!!
having the star wars gift worse than the friends gift is atrocious..
