7:55 Katie, you're so real for admitting that the ego flared up when accepting full time work again.
The idea that every successful TH-camr makes a full time income from TH-cam is so outdated, a quick google says a channel would need at least 1 million views a month to even crack minimum wage in California.
But I still see so many creators lie by omission about their lives because idk, they think it's cringe to work?? There's no shame in honest work.
Frankly if you have the time and energy, it's dumb NOT to keep working on other income streams, and save as much money as you can while you're young and healthy!
I really like how genuine and self-aware Katie is. Your life experiences and lessons really speak to me. My goals for June are to priorities my health and rest and I'm signing up for a course in data science,super excited .Congratulations on your new job, you deserve it !!
Congratulations on your new opportunity! I would love to hear you touch on the work-life balance aspect in this new chapter for you, how you are fitting in your overall health, creativity and relationships in a busy fulltime schedule. Many influencers have their TH-cam/Instagram outlet as their main work, which can be difficult to relate to for viewers working 40 hr Mon-Fri with overall less flexibility. Also, loving your gardening (balconing?) and meditation vibe! I used to be meditating regularly but after a tough patch, I fell out of it - ironic, right? Working on getting back into it.
i love morning routines videos, night routines, skincare e makeup videos, working vlogs, what i eat in a day, meal prep, reset videos. normal people ligestyle content! i think it will be nice to see how you balance selfcare and a normal job ❤

Thanks for this inspiring video! This was the motivation I needed to sit down and go through the goals I wrote down in January. I was pleasantly surprised to see that I've made more progress than I'd thought and was able to make a plan for how I can continue to progress over the summer.
This month, my goals are mostly fitness and financial. On the fitness side, I want to hit my step goal daily, do a home workout two or three times a week, and remember to take my vitamins (easier said than done). I also have a goal of starting each morning with ten minutes of yoga to get me out of bed and moving, so I'd love to make that a habit this month. On the financial side, I'm trying to have 12 no-spend days and to bring my lunch to work every day.
Regarding editing style, I would love to see more video montage with voice overs instead of the ''sitting down to talk'' style. Thank you for asking for our feedback and being willing to consider it! Also, loads of luck with your new job full-time job!! :)

Hi Katie! I really enjoy your videos and can’t wait for more :) Few content suggestions/asks: I’ve been doing your monthly resets for few months now and find it very useful! I also try to do short weekly check ins and in those, if I’m not on track with whatever I planned for the month, I try to understand what is the reason and come up with some mitigations 😁 Maybe you have some tips on those? I would enjoy a weekly reset video where you cover something along those lines 😊Another thing that I’m trying to do is to put more effort into how I dress when I’m at home but sometimes I rly struggle 😅 So a video about this and maybe some examples of COMFY but still put together looks would be nice 😊

I took a meditation class during my junior year in college. In the class, we practiced different forms of meditation. Our "textbook" ( it's a regular book) was Real Happinesses by Sharon Salzberg. It explains some different forms
Oh yeah, Redondo Beach girl here and summer doesn’t really start until July and goes to Oct. lol. I always feel bad for people who visit here in June thinking it will be super nice and it’s overcast every day. lol.

Please don’t put your dog down because a vet says he won’t live long. They don’t know. Pain management I think it’s great, but please don’t let a vet. Tell you to put your dog down because of what may happen in the future. I hear this all the time and these dogs live years and years actor please please please dont.
