I lived in Yokohama from 1986 to 1995, the last time I was at Daikoku Futo was in 1991. Your video brings back a lot of memories.

Always find it cool that Lotus are built where I live here in the UK, never really been a fan of the brand or style of the cars but cool to see them in places like this and know they came from around here
Same with me for bmw. I live in dingolfing Where 5,7,8 and other bigger series’s are built. Always a kind of weird feeling seeing a car making the long way from my small city to anywhere in the world haha

11:57 Legacy B4 Blitzen, "super cool" as you would say. While I wouldn't say it was my absolute favorite of the video, I've always wanted one of those. They were somewhat limited production, and the aero / body kit, interior, and stock wheels were designed by Porsche Design.

Ironically I ordered some Dafski a few days ago, I was looking for a promo code but none all good ordered a bunch some for my cars and quite a few for some car mates for Xmas, should make some good surprise gifts I reckon, some of those boys need their cars smelling nicer than they realise lol and the state of the world, I thought I’d get in early as dunno what delivery times to downunder will be like, looking fwd to some Dafkis in the cars, 🤙

I'm really considering selling all my stuff here in America and moving to Japan, it just seems nicer than how people are and how things are going in America. One day i might just try to move there.

15:38 left hand drive imported, almost looks like a US show mini truck, very unique combination extend cab and very stretched frame and not sure what that box is from. looks like a duelly style. i had a 92 4x4 for years, was alot of fun offroad but the 3.woah engine was a little underpowered for me

That mark 2, its called a candy coat, many layers of coat and flake, then clear, very expensive, especially from house of kolor paint. thats around a 6 or $7000 paint job in the US

Seeing a boat of a oldsmobile station wagon parked next to the r34 boggles my mind every time.
I think people in Japan dont think as highly of the r34 as everyone outside Japan does. R34 in Japan is like a mustang in the states or M3 in Europe, local regions have so many of them and they are much more affordable there hence they dont really give a shit, but those cars outside those regions seem to be liked by the car enthusiasts

Are parts in Japan cheaper than in the States if you order them from Japan? Of course the shipping charges are part if the equation but what about the parts by themselves?
Do you know if there is a daikoku meeting this weekend? Im in Tokio for the weekend and would really love to got there, but the weatherforecast is awful.
Late reply, go to daikoku on weekends evening before 8 pm (police usually shut it down by 8). Also u cant walk to daikoku u need a car
