First, I'm really enjoying your videos, so awesome, one question, In windows, can't you rotate the screen (CTRL + ALT and Arrow) so its easier to view when you are in windows, I'm just not sure how FX 2 knows to start in that position. Side note: Glad you decided to put out more video's
I don't know about the keyboard shortcuts, but yes. I did a rt-click on screen, and under Resolutions there is the option to switch between Portrait and Landscape. After getting everything set, switch back before running the front end. I totally get it: it's a royal pain trying to look at the screen physically rotated.
Just to verify: prior to the start of this video, you purchased the tables/packages on Steam and they are already installed to the Vertigo's PC, correct? I'm a bit of a nub with Steam.
@@vpcabspinball886 I'll have to get back to you on this later this week. Working midnights. I wouldn't mind seeing screenshot of your PinballX settings for Pinball FX 3. I appreciate all your help and advice.
@@vpcabspinball886 when you hit your quit button does it kill, stop, quit Pinball FX also? I'm trying to find a way to exit Pinball FX after playing a table and go directly back into PinballX. Hitting ESC while playing a table just backs into the pause menu within Pinball FX. I'm a bit confused. Also I'm at work so I'm not in front of my cabinet right now. Again I appreciate your help and don't mean to be a bother.
Thanks for this. Are these new pinball fx3 games auto downloaded from steam with the purchase of the machine or do we need to pay for these as new purchases?
Started getting a second DMD on the playfield. It ONLY pops up when inputting initials or interacting with the DMD (like in Skyrim: Selecting quest with flippers, choosing weapons, etc). I have the DMD size turned OFF in in UI settings. It DOESN'T appear on the playfield during regular play (the DMD is on my 3rd monitor) just when entering initials or otherwise using the flippers to interact with the DMD. Did I mess something up in the settings somewhere? Can anyone help?
@@vpcabspinball886 not trying to argue but this didn't start happening to me until today. There was only the DMD on my third monitor, not on the playfield.
@@vpcabspinball886 I don't think so. My cabinet is offline. Do you know of any way to remove the Camera View and Pause icons/buttons on the top right corner of the playfield? Someone on a forum said they should disappear after a few seconds unless the mouse is moving. Mine are always there and never go away.
One game that I wish Epic would bring back is Epic Pinball. The Super Android table would be awesome to see brought to a physical machine like this!

FX2 or 3 would work fine with the screen rotated but platforms like Visual Pinball do not. That’s why it has to stay that way.

Is there a way to remove the Camera/Pause icon buttons in the top right corner of the playfield?
@Serenity b what?
What is the brand and model of the mini wireless keyboard and mouse combo you're using?
Can’t remember the name off hand but Amazon has them for under $15
I'm able to launch the tables through PinballX but how do you exit directly back to PinballX after you exit a table?
We just press the exit button on the cabinet. It’s mapped to any key you want and you just tell PinballX to recognize that keyboard command

Doug Radcliffe machines ship with all currently available FX3 games. All future games you buy through Steam and add them as shown in the video!
VPcabs Inc. thanks!
How do you get the dmd screen to show up on the other screen and how do u get the backglass to show up during gameplay?
We pay a License fee to Zen Studios to unlock those features.
I didn’t pay and I got those features free. Weird.

That is normal on some of the games and there’s no way to change it.

It's happening on every table not just some.
It could be a new update from Zen then. I haven’t updated our demo in a couple weeks.
