I have used viper flex sticks since they first come out.the only thing is those bloody holes BUT a bit of shrink tube and its sorted.blaser sticks are a bit gimmicky for me but each too there own.come on there shooting sticks there not that hard too use some are just better made than others.viper flex light just buy em and your sorted
Not that we’re aware of, a three piece version would be the dream!! Lightweight, warmer to hold and easy to pack away. There’s a challenge for manufacturers!!
The Seeland sticks are another design. Nearly all quad sticks have limitations, it’s just what’s works for you personally. If they suit you and your needs, perfect. The quad stick design isn’t perfect, we’ve merely looked at the versions that we used, tested and some of the reasons for that. As with any stalking kit, mistakes can sometimes be costly! If they help you out more deer on the ground effectively, then carry on unabashedly, more power to you. Safe shooting n
Not a balanced report as many like myself make homemade sticks and used for years. People zero rifles in a V bag then put it on a yoke so it is not locked as when it was zeroed. The "tracking" use with Yokes means it can move much more than in the V
We were not criticising home made versions, as for many years that was all we had and used ourselves. We improved the original design with the cradle which has been universally adopted. We were discussing factory offerings, as such we feel it was a balanced report. The only slight bias was the fact we left out poor quality versions which we feel have no place in today’s stalking. Neither do we consider zeroing off a set of sticks a good idea. As always ymmv and we certainly respect that. Safe shooting.
What you recommend is profit based which is fine however as I pointed out to the lads in a previous video the shop brought high seats like most the rails are always too low hence them having to add a hand height to get the right height. If you don't check your zero off sticks then you don't know where you are shooting as your Yoke system allows x2 of movement so unless you check the flinch we all have you won't know where the round is going.! The standing position is different to the bench position as you know, just like shooting a shot gun get the feet wrong and the shot will be wrong. What you have to understand that there are a number of people who make and use home made kit to great effect. A rifle shot off the bench will not change point of impact, it would be the shooters technique 100%. The flinch you mention, isn’t a flinch, its recoil awareness and I’d happily prove that to you!! Each to their own.
You can't rock fwd on a bench but you can off sticks!! People go to the range to keep up their skills and you can bet the price of your sticks they will be on a bi-pod not standing up at Bisley with a set of quads lol Had you shown a video of "How sticks have evolved" From the twin hazel sticks to where we are know it would have been balanced... All your expert advice has the channel one sub less...well done.

We do that out to 250m on life-size metal animal targets (something I don’t think Bisley offer). We’re about stalking practice and training, not paper punching. How about a small challenge? Book an hour with us and I prove I’m right and you pay double, prove me wrong, you get a free session with us? Can’t say fairer than that.
I’d certainly agree a tether between front & back legs is a must & has been added to my Viperflex sticks (the handle has been ditched as well).
