Donna, your explanation of bias and grain has to be the best I’ve heard. I always knew it was important, but your visual example, along with your reasoning, was a real lightbulb moment for me. Your approach to actually teaching us to quilt, rather than just presenting a new pattern, is what sets your channel apart from others. No gimmicks, no wine, no yack yack yack; just information. Thank you!

Don't you know that Donna Jordan must be a Wonder Woman, the Daughter of Athena and born on Amazonia? This woman can get from first cut to final presentation in under a half hour! (But then, I really DON'T believe that Superman can fly.)

I suppose we all have our ways of learning, and mine is on this channel, but many also don't mind taking alternate bits and pieces from some other sites, some of them not only humorous but informative in their own right. I don't have a longarm so I'm quite interested in the freearm alternatves as part of that option, as I'll need to draw from that.

I have made the mistake , not having this fantastic knowledge about bias.
It has been a roadblock to finishing an adorable quilt.

Ah, the elusive quarter-inch. .. that's where I should be, practicing mine instead of binge-watching Donna and Matt's incredible team and tutorials. I had a to-do list?? okay, i'm vaguely recalling that. These videos have Un-Taught me nearly everything that I thought my extensive experience had taught me, and I've been sewing one thing or the other since I was 5 yrs old, so lets just say thats many decades. Donna is SO incredible, and Over a year ago I stumbled across her and I haven't stopped watching and rewatching mostly all the tutorials. This past summer i ordered some of Matt's Jelly Rolls with no pinked edges, and their s'quality was/is tops too. I'd like to say much more but I'll limit myself, just a huge Thanks for Donna s thorough way, pleasant personality and sweet smile she shows us every day

Hi Donna just had to tell you your camera person is so good. Its so easy to see how you are doing everything. So a big thank you to either your son or daughter who works the camera.
I too can't wait for another new video to come out every week. Some are too complicated for me and of course they are far too big. I only have a small sewing area. But hey I do lots of small projects and make baby quilts.
The quilt turned out really lovely. Didn't think I was going to like it but its beautiful the colours are so delicate. Well done again Donna.
    THANKS Jordan Fabrics.

Just wanted to say Hello Neighbor. It's nice to see I'm not the only one who comes to Donna Channel when I cant sleep. Better yet, scale down from a twin size quilt to a table runner, or square table topper, and use scrap fabric from your stash as a practice run. Most importantly, don't stress and have fun.

Donna I will be making a trip south to your shop this summer to see and pick up some of the awesome grunge fabric. I watch your tutorials at 3am at work on my lunch. Thank you. Thank you.

This is probably the 3rd time I've watched this video. Thank you for doing this one it's really good. And I like the way you decided to use a different colour for the setting triangles than the what you call the background because I don't know I just I just like the change of colour I think that's a pretty cool way to do it. This is another pattern on my "need to order from Donna list".

I have just started looking at quilting and had a “bash” at a couple of small projects. Your explanations are so clear and it is all now beginning to make sense. It’s a whole new language! Thank you and I look forward to your next video but in the meantime I will trawl through your archives!

Absolutely love everything about this quilt. Your explanations are top notch. And I love the fabric collection. I tried on point a year or so ago and got all turned around. It’s in a plastic bag under my cut/piece table. This gives me a bit of confidence to bring it out and try again
