Thanks. But I'm worried about the local cats (there are many) getting at robins when they are so low (beneath the top of an ivy-covered fence) that otherwise would do the job very nicely. The cats walk along the top of the fence- would adding spikey nails do the job??? It might not be v. popular with the neighbours!
