I keep a bullet journal that serves as my in-tray for digital and physical to-do items. Everything ends up in my next actions list or location based collections. 😀
I think I’ll need to work on inbox processing before I commit fully to this one, because so far I’ve just ended up with one big scary pile that I didn’t want to touch.
I'm in a similar boat right now. Did you ever find a solution for that problem? Found this program called Everdo specifically made for GTD, but it seems like only a select few know about it. So no 'workflow demonstration' type videos exist to make it easier for overwhelmed newcomers like myself lol.
Taking the time to create the inbox and 2 folders may help. When paperwork or tasks come in, they go into the inbox. Remember, if the task can be done in 2 minutes, take care of it and cross it off. However, if it can not be done in 2 minutes, put it in your inbox. I go through my inbox 2 or 3 times a day. First is in the morning at work. I go through my email inbox and my paper inbox. That is where I would be putting things into the other 2 folders. One is task I can do today, the other are things that I’m waiting on or tasks that are not ready. That way I have my work for the morning ready. I go through this again after lunch for the afternoon work. Lastly, I go through the system when I get home. I have the mail from the mailbox, I go through my personal email and task with the same focus from work. My spouse loves that I focus on that.
ah David, me as a adult ADHD person, meaning one million to to everyday, GTD really saves my day. can you please help to use more efficiently the GTD method?

@@Hyper-Linkman Yes, the answer for me has been to take smaller bites.
@@snailbait Wise answer! Reflection is key, it seems.

Thanks for the helpful video.
Looks a lot like my desk: an inbox, notepad, folder stand and a computer. But I’m in GTD for years and it shouldn’t surprise anyone… ;)
I notice there are two trays-I’m guessing one is an in tray, but the other one?
long time fan here. I am curious. Do you still run Lotus Notes on your iMac ?
Is there any way I can attend to a course and get certified as GTD trainer in New Zealand? I already contacted GTD Australia/Nz but nobody replies.
Hi, Thanks for helpful videos and other contents. Can you activate auto or script video based subtitles on your videos please. Thanks in advance.
Thank you! The subtitles should be activated, I'll double check.
