Crazy the difference one pick out of six makes. I guess in reality it affects the two picks next to it, but it's really a stunning effect with such a simple pattern. The fabric looks great, too, just see-through enough to see the loom while unwinding but definitely occulting from a distance.
Hi there ! Your curtains are so pretty, I love the way you often add just the little detail that makes the difference. I can't wait to see them finished and suspended at your window.
I know what I'm doing tonight! I'm warping my loom with this pattern but for a baby blanket instead of curtains. I'll have to do the curtains next time! This is so wonderfully simple and stunning!
I had to work with what I had on hand and ended up altering the pattern to have 5 sections (4 stripes) on a 12.5 heddle with 8/2 cotton. The baby is due next month and it is very hot here, so I think this will be a lovely nursing cover for the mother to use. Thank you so much for your tutorial!
Laïla ❤️ Je suis trop contente de te lire! Et bien sur que tu peux faire mon patron, il est là pour ça 😄 J'espère que tout se passe bien pour toi 😊 et bon tissage!
Yes! I recommend watching Sarah Howard’s channel. She makes wonderful pieces of clothing with her weaving. Here’s the link to her channel : youtube.com/@getweaving8459?si=Ap5v4Y5k580RkBU1
I really depends on the thickness of the yarn that you are using and if there are a lot of colour changes in your pattern! I once wove a whole scarf in a day with thick yarn.
It depends on the project! For the curtains in this video, I used my 15 dpi and I singled the warp threads. I have also used my 10 dpi and my 12.5 dpi for other projects. When I did, I doubled the warp threads in the heddle.
Love it! The neighbours won't know what hit your windows.
Hahah!! You made me laugh so much with that one 😂 Thank you!

Hi wich yarn i can use to weave lightweight fabric
I will depend on what you want to make! Here, I used 8/2 cotton, but there exists also 16/2 cotton which just even finer
How much time it takes to make 1 meter fabric on rigid heddle loom please reply

Whitch heddle do you used v for 8/2 yarn ?
