Review #50: Darkseid Tower of Darkness Playser from Super Powered Customs

If you ever dreamed of having this unproduced Super Powers playset, it can be yours in all of its towering glory. This set is massive with details faithfully produced to match the Kenner prototypes. SPC even took a few creative liberties to flesh out details not fully explored in the version we saw (such as a lava pool in front of the throne).

What’s great about this is that it was jilt exactly how you would have got it back in ‘84/‘85. And know as an adult you can customize it like you never could as a kid. Really cool.

One of my core memories was one of my classmates bringing the catalogue to school and I remeber seeing this only to never be seen again! I often wondered if it was merely my imagination, but now I know it was never actaully produced in mass. I also remember the Kalibak Boulder Bomber
