  • In this video I discuss the differences in furniture restoration and painting furniture. Also detail the process of re-painting a sweedish 18th century tall case clock with chalk paint.

I do this for a living using Annie Sloan paints. Use more vintage furniture not antiques but it is so satisfying and creative, David. Problem is I purchased a stunning bed and I have no idea of the value. It was painted using an acrylic and I have been stripping for a week now. It seems a sacrilege to paint it. The carvings are out of this world.
Loved your look on the clock.

Hey, love your videos. 38:20 "Sic Volvitur Aetas": I know someone already gave you "So is turning age", and that's what the words may mean, but I would translate that to mean "[such is] the turning of the seasons" or "so the seasons turn" or simply "the cycle of the seasons". These phrases are more in line with what that medallion is expressing, no? Best wishes, DaveFer.
