I totally understand why the other guys dissed the Hall. But I think Tom understood that it wasn't about the Hall, or even about them, it was about honoring the fans and every person who rallied behind their message. So Tom put on his best baseball cap, walked into the face of yet another machine, and raged against it one more time.
Zack (and maybe the others idk) were literally off protesting against a genocide funded by our own gov, can't really think of a better way to honor us and the message than that. they chose to divide and conquer.

Great speech. I like the Sinclair MC5 'Brothers and Sisters'. Nice touch. Tom's been a great interface with the media, for the band. It's nice that he thanked his Guitar Tech. You don't see that very often. Giving some love to his paid employee. I think people would love to see more RATM gigs, even with Zack sitting in a chair. They'd understand. I like how he didn't bash Cops or the Military - simply spoke of using your Conscience. I am a retired Cop. I always did that and helped Homeless and damaged people as much as I could. There are good ones out there. They should be supported. Society isn't ready to have no Social Controls. We all have to be be more decent to each other so that one day we don't need them. Viva RATM.
